I love having such a great library in walking distance between my home and office — a nearly daily treat.
Great selections of books, movies and CDs and, of course, just about anything can be ordered online and picked up here. The atmosphere is light and inviting and the librarians are incredibly friendly and helpful.
A color copier would be the icing on this otherwise very sweet cake.

Nice and quiet, with plenty of comfortable chairs and power outlets. Selection at the library itself is hit-​or-​miss, but it is very very easy to get materials from any of the many Sno-​Isle Libraries. Look for the computers that are «Catalogue only» when you need to find something — they’re usually open. Plenty of parking and it’s right on a couple of bus lines. The automated check-​out machines are like crack, or EZPass — they seem unnatural and impersonal at first, but now I never want to bother someone to check books out ever again!
Only annoyance is the hours — they close at 6 on Fridays and Saturdays and are only open 1 – 5 on Sundays. I know that’s life these days, but Sunday mornings and evenings are great times to spend at a library.

Everything you could wish a library to be. Friendly, helpful librarians, beautiful view of Puget Sound, clean, comfortable, free wifi, large collection of books and dvds, and the the most extensive collection of popular cds I have ever seen in a library anywhere.

I love the Edmonds Library!
1. It’s a nice quiet place with great views.
2. The Explorer book thingy where new books are available to check out. I’ve read soooo many of these and have found some great ones!
3. Free WiFi & comfy chairs.
4. Easy automated check-​out machines.
5. It’s a great hike up the hill from my house so I always get a workout :)

Gorgeous views out the windows for when you are sitting in a nice comfy chair reading magazines or the paper. The entire Sound is on display the only thing not visible is Mt. Rainier. Watch the Kingston ferries come and go. They also have a very good selection of movies, CDs as well as those big things full of pages and words. What are those things called again?
Some people don’t dig it, but I love the pattern of their carpet. Basically, it looks like someone tripped and spilled several hundred black and white Go game pieces all over the floor.
If you’re in Edmonds and want to check out an excellent library, look no further.

Man, I LOVE the Edmonds library these days! It’s def nice and quiet. There are computers (that are pretty terrible, but hey free «internet access», eh?). They usually have some cool stuff in their book sale section that are pretty cool and very cheap!
My favorite part? Free WiFi and the sweeping views of Puget Sound down at the gorgeous Edmonds waterfront! There’s usually tons of cushy chairs that are close to AC wall outlets, so bring your laptop down and work while taking in the views of the ferries heading out to Kingston. It’s a breathtaking way to take a break from your work!
