6 years ago I started going here, when pregnant with my first. After seeing a few doctors here and finally seeing Dr. SPIRO. my husband and I were (and still are) very happy with his expertise, compassion and understanding of my needs and being comfortable.
I tell everyone to go to him, even women who prefer female doctors. because he is simply the best and does not force his opinions (like I’ve felt from so many female doctors. too much opinion and judgment). He is a doctor who gives his expert advice and unbiased facts and opinions.
He has delivered all three of my babies and has been attentive and there, going out of his way, every step of the way! Our third was in the NICU for a week and Spiro was there often, calling often and letting us check in with him when we needed.
My husband even goes to him for everything, including a vasectomy. And if my husband likes the Dr. and will actually go, this really means something! Men never care for doctors, let alone want to go! We moved Redmond three years ago and all still travel to Edmonds because of him.
We are truely blessed to have him as our family doctor and the only one who delivered all my kids.
Now, with that being said, the reception has never been great. It’s a real bummer. Even when calling and scheduling all my family’s appointments they seem annoyed. I wish they could get some friendlier desk people who know what good custom service is!
I give 5 stars for Spiro, but the front desk would be a 3.

I FINALLY got my wife to change Doctors after five years of begging and pleading her to leave this terrible place. Short list: 1. Botched Pap smear; their fault, but we paid for it twice. 2. Prescribed Antibiotic my wife was allergic to, happened twice with them.3. Extra long wait times for appointments. 4. Would not provide antihistamine shot when they prescribed her Keflex the first time. 5. Their lab IS too incompetent to draw blood from our infant daughter-​that was the last straw!
You have to be desperate to go to their clinic. And after our baby was born they tried to intimidate me and scare me into bringing her in for more test. She’s doing great; NO THANKS to Edmonds Birth and Family. EVERY Doctor, including Dr. Nelson, Dr Skeriah, and Dr. Erickson were a major let down. I’m OK with Dr. Fuhrmann, he was reasonable. But I wouldn’t take a chance unless someone’s life was in jeopardy.
