Specialties
From broadcast and healthcare facilities across the United States and abroad, to an array of State and local projects, VanStavern Design Group has accomplished an impressive and varied portfolio of work.
Mission
Our mission is to listen intently to the needs and desires of our clients in order to create nurturing, responsive interior spaces that meet their everyday needs, always considering the most current materials and methods for beauty, function, and global sustainability.
Firm Philosophy
VanStavern Design Group, Inc. is a full service interior design firm specializing in innovative design and client service. Whether a project is intended for living, working, healing, or playing, we endeavor to create interior environments that empower people to be their best, believing that the services we provide have a substantial and lasting impact on the user’s well-being, health, competence, self esteem, and enjoyment.
Sustainability
Sustainable Design is an effort to minimize the ecological impact of a building and improve the lives of the people who dwell in it. It is more than just the specification of natural, renewable, or recycled materials. Sustainable Design must consider the quality of air we breathe, the source and efficiency of the light we work by, the ergonomic quality of the furniture we use, the amount of waste we create, the choice of building materials and their manufacture.
History
Established in 1984.
Firm History
Vicki VanStavern founded VanStavern Design Group, Inc. in 1984 and incorporated in 1988.
We soon realized that the high level of design and coordination we wanted to achieve was best accomplished working as a member of a full service architectural design team. The majority of our work has been as the interiors consultant on large projects, many of them landmark buildings such as:
The Oklahoma City Museum of Art
The Oklahoma Judicial Center
The Office of the Attorney General of Oklahoma
OU Gaylord Hall College of Journalism & Mass Communication
Anadolu Health Center in Gebze, Turkey
A team effort with the client, architect, contractor, and other consultants results in a fully coordinated project.
