The Pointe At North Penn

I have to leave this review to make sure people know how BAD this place is, and how the management doesn’t care if people living here have a good experience or not. We had water leaking through our windows and walls which molded a mattress of ours. This is not covered by renter’s insurance. We feel the Point at North Penn should reimburse us for the grave inconvenience, since it is their poor maintenance that caused the problem, not a freak flood or something. We were 5 days with only 1 of 3 of our bedrooms. And they refused to pay to put us up in a hotel. So the 7 of us drove 2 hours to stay with family. We had to fight for them to actually remove the carpet and moldy tack strip. They just wanted to clean it. And they wanted to put down new carpet before drying out the concrete subfloor. We asked to speak to a supervisor and she won’t call us back. We wanted to give them the chance to do right by us, but they don’t care.
I’d like to add that right now there is standing water all in front of the building because the soil is eroded and the management doesn’t bother to add dirt to keep the drainage good. No less than 3 handymen who work here have admitted to us that there are lots of problems due to the poor, cheap, hasty build of these apartments.
