Established in 2005.

One Lucky Mutt OKC opened June 25, 2012 and is owned and operated by Carrie Schwarz. The original store is located in Wildwood, MO. It was founded by Chris and Tracy Curran in 2005. The inspiration for One Lucky Mutt was their pup, Lucy, who began to have seizures at an early age. After being told that Lucy wouldn’t live past the age of 3, the Currans began doing their own research and made the decision to take a «hol

istic» approach to Lucy’s treatment as well as her and her siblings’ way of life. This was the start of a seven-​year journey of testing and learning about various natural treatments and diets. They recently lost their «one lucky mutt» at the age of 13 years, but she continues to be their inspiration.

After working in the corporate world, Carrie decided to do something she was passionate about which is working with people and pets. She opened One Lucky Mutt in June 2012 and is loving every minute of it.
