History

Established in 2010.

Used to be in sync with the restaurant in Norman off Campus Corner. Now it has separated and is currently owned by the Penn Square Mall Italia Express owner who has been very well known for his authenticity and friendly attitude for almost 10 years!

Business Owner

He has been in the restaurant business since he was 17 years old. Started as a bus-​boy with knowing little english at a restaurant named piccolo mondo in Dallas, Tx. Then worked his way up to waitor /​manager at La Bistro in Grapevine Hwy in Hurst, Texas (currently still Open). Then got the opportunity to move to Oklahoma city in 2004 and has ran and owned a total 5 restaurants. 3 currently still open. His determination to make great food and great customer service has kept him running for over 25 years and has no plans on slowing down.

THEY HAVE CLOSED!
I LOVED this place… a little slice of home for me. We went last night, but a sign was up that they have closed and a new place is coming soon with Indian and Nepalese food. Perhaps I need to to stop liking local places… they always seem to close on me. :(

Pizza, pasta and meatball subs, had them all and ALL are fantastic. Not bad prices either. Only bummer is we want them to deliver but we make the drive. Staff are fast and friendly.

Be prepared to wait a little while (everything is made fresh)!! This is the best Italian food in Edmond. It comes in close second to Roma’s in Guthrie (15 mins away). Just be prepared to have a smile on your face when you bite into the deliciousness at NY pizza!

I’m from the Northeast and this pizza is very close to that taste. I will say it does compare to the likes of the pizzerias in the NY and CT. It’s not perfect but it’s good. It’s not your little caesar or pre processed papa or Pizza Hut stuff I am not a fan of that. Check them out they are a family owned business and parking is ample.
