Specialties

Citizens Bank of Edmond’s Heard on Hurd is a festival promoting all things local. Located in downtown Edmond every third Saturday, Heard on Hurd aims to bring awareness to eating, shopping and banking local by hosting a monthly community block party featuring live local music.

Suburbia never sounded so good.

History

Established in 2014.

Citizens Bank of Edmond’s Heard on Hurd was the brainchild of President and CEO Jill Castilla. Citizens was involved with H&8th at the time and voices in the community spoke up asking for a street festival event for Edmond. Castilla decided that it made sense for the 115-year-old local community bank to host and run the event and the rest was history.

Citizens does not make any income off of Heard on Hurd and is the sole sponsor, host and financial supporter of the event. The event is put on every month by our dedicated volunteers. Citizens Bank of Edmond has been located on the same intersection in downtown for the past 115 years. Heard on Hurd is our stake in the ground claiming that we’re here to stay and support our community for another century and beyond! Support local by supporting local food, local music, local shopping AND local banking!
