What is Clue Quest? Think of it as video-​game meets real life, with a side order of who-​dun-​it and just enough stress to make you tingle. Locked inside a room, you have only an hour to solve the mysteries and get the coveted door code– your key to escape and victory!

Clue Quest in Edmond is a new and exciting form of entertainment for groups of 2 to 6 people. Your goal: get your team out! Solve puzzles, open locks and find clues within one of three very different, exciting, and challenging themed rooms. Channel your inner escape artist and wind your way through this mental obstacle course. It’s great fun for all groups of friends, families and co-​workers!

History

Established in 2015.

The live Escape Room is a relatively new genre of entertainment. It is a physical adventure game where participants are locked inside a room and must explore their surroundings and solve various puzzles and logic challenges in order to get out. Before the live version, Escape the Room video games became popular in Japan and spread quickly to other parts of the world and to other formats such as iPhone apps.

During the 2010’s, live escape (one day or weekend events) began to be popular in the United States, Japan, Taiwan and mainland China. Permanent locations for real-​life Escape Games first opened in Switzerland and Hungary spreading quickly afterward to North America, Asia and Australia. Millions of people now enjoy these games throughout the world and the demand for more rooms in more locations is constantly growing.

In September 2014, my wife and I visited an Escape Room for the first time and the fire was lit. We had a blast, but also thought of many ways this could be so much better, more immersive, and more fun! We started throwing ideas back and forth and eventually decided that we could do this and open up on weekends while keeping our current jobs to help fund the startup. We found a space, remodeled and decorated, brought in all the furniture and props, built a website and opened up on June 5^th. People absolutely love it!
