My name is Greg Appleby and I am the sole owner and operator of Action Satellite & Home Theater of Edmond, Oklahoma. I have been a Dish Network dealer since they began around 1994 and a dealer for their parent company, Echostar, LLC, since the early 1980s. I also sell and install Free-​To-​Air (FTA) Satellite Systems and do DirecTV service calls to many of their customers due to the high caliber of quality I have been able to provide, even though I am no longer a DirecTV dealer. I also sell and install Home Theater Systems of all types, whether its simply mounting a flat panel TV on a wall, installing surround systems, running speaker wire or coaxial cable, or adding new speakers. I am also one of the few technicians in Oklahoma who still service the Big C-​Band Satellite Dishes. Yes, they still exist and still work!

As of my background and experience, my father, Gordon Appleby, began Gordons TV and Appliance, Inc. in 1958 and was one of the leading electronics stores and service centers in central Oklahoma for many years. I started working full-​time for Gordons in 1978 as General Manager and Co-​owner until 1999 when I closed Gordons TV and began an even more personalized Action Satellite in Edmond. I feel that friendly, knowledgeable, fast and reasonable personal service is my greatest asset over larger, impersonal & poorly staffed satellite and home theater companies in the Oklahoma City area.

Established in 1999.

Action Satellite & Home Theater of Edmond, Oklahoma, began late in 1999, as a continuation of Gordon’s TV & Appliances Inc., which my father, Gordon Appleby, started in 1958. I ran the company as Co-​owner/​President from 1978 until the advent of Action Satellite. We are currently a DirecTV Certified Dealer for both residential and commercial sales and installs. We also sell and install many other satellite systems. RV equipment from Dish Network, Winegard, King Controls, KVH and of course DirecTV can be installed or serviced quickly and efficiently. Also, Free-​To-​Air (FTA) satellite systems have increased in popularity and offer hundreds of FREE channels.
