I had gone to this store to buy a watch as a gift, and the college student who worked there was very friendly and helpful. When the watch didn’t fit, I returned it, and purchase a new watch that had a band that had the ability for you to add links to. I asked how much it would cost to purchase 3 additional links, and I was told that it was free — just to give them a week. Awesome service and very much appreciated. After 2 weeks, I got a call, and was told the links were in. However, only 2 arrived, so I asked them to order an additional one, which they did, but after giving me a hard time, saying I didn’t really need a third one. Two weeks later, I went back to the store, and they put on the additional links. After taking the watch home and giving it to my brother a few days later, I noticed that the links they put on the watch were dark black, and did not match the original gray links. I went back to the store and the owner was there, and indicated that there was nothing he could do about it and that I was out of luck. He indicated that I was not the first unhappy customer, and that he couldn’t care less that the links didn’t match. When I asked for a refund, he proceeded to curse at me and get very angry, yelling at me to get out of his store. I left, and returned with mall security. The owner of the store refused to even discuss the issue, saying that the watch only costs $ 130 and not $ 1,000, so who cares. He went only to repeatedly call me fussy and tell the officers that people don’t care if the links aren’t the same color, and that I was just trying to take advantage of him. He said he wouldn’t give me a refund, because he went out of his way to order the links for me in the first place and it’s my fault that I didn’t like the watch now. He offered to sell me the black links(which I had no use for), but still not give me a refund on the watch, as the 2 week return window passed(because it took 1 month to get the 3 links.). After two hours, three security officers, and many other customers who must have enjoyed the scene, we finally came to an agreement. I would pay $ 40 for two gray links from the original watch(which is a rip-off) and buy the watch else where. End of the day, as this watch only costs $ 84.99 on amazon prime with free shipping, even after you add $ 40, it still costs less than what they charge in the store. Do not shop at this place. What a horrible experience. I’ve never been so badly treated by someone in a customer service industry before.

I have been to this store a couple of time in the past for some minor watch repairs and found them to be very efficient and reasonably priced. Today I bought a watch there. The gentleman who waited on me was very helpful and patient. The watch was 30% off list price. Normally I do some price research before I go into a store but since I was wasn’t sure what I would be buying, I went in blind. Naturally, when I got home I did some price research and found that it was about 15% cheaper if I bought it at some popular web sites. However, under the circumstance I had no problem paying the extra 15% on a watch in the $ 200 – 300 dollar range. I got to try on a lot of different watches which is something I cannot do online and I did try on a lot of watches before making my selection. I could not decide between 3 and had a great opportunity to look at them all very carefully. Plus, the band was too big so the gentleman removed some links. If I had purchased online, I probably would have to go to a store and pay for this adjustment anyway. So, while I could have got it for cheaper on-line, I felt that additional amount I paid which was still well off the MSRP, was worth it when you factor in the fine service I received.

Uh… charging me more for a freaking battery replacement because my watch is more expensive? Really? Yeah, don’t go there.
