Our Lady of Peace Church

Just moved to the area and was looking for the town church. Found it! What a beautiful site, outside and then inside!
It got packed quickly so good thing we arrived early. I fell in love with the church immediately because it reminded me of my childhood. It’s a traditional church with traditional hymns. The people were somewhat reserved but I expect that initially.
The church, though big, made me feel at home right away. They had a beautiful choir singing away. They had children everywhere. Towards the end of mass, the priest announced that even though mass attendance was dwindling in most churches across the country, Our Lady of Peace was actually increasing it’s number of attendees! How awesome is that?!
I definitely think we are in the right place and that we will love it here. You can’t find old traditions in many places.
