I saw this place the last time I ate at Swagath(a couple doors down), but did not buy anything since I was full. This place serves freshly cooked Filipino food turo-turo/point-point style and carries a few products on two large metal shelves. Bibingka($ 7 – $ 3.50/ea): The sliced salted duck egg on top won me over; other places are stingy and just give you crumbles. It also helps knowing that the owners offered me a fresh batch right from the bibingka oven. Each one is soft, flavorful, and light in sweetness. Pork BBQ Stick($ 5 – $ 2.25/ea): The owners said people up north come down to Edison specifcally for their BBQ – good enough to convince me to buy a couple for the road. Each stick comes with plenty of meat with a good ratio of fatty slices. The marinade they use is just right – not overly sweet. It wasn’t too warm when I ate them, but they’re still really tasty. Puto(~$ 4): Ah, the quintessential Filipino rice cake. Each pack comes with six puto that are lightly sweet, dense, and have the perfect texture. This is the basic non-flavored kind, but they are still fun to snack on. I like to add some sliced cheese on top, heat it up a little until the cheese melts, and enjoy it while it’s hot. Do not quote me on the price – it may be more than $ 4 for six pieces. Sisig($ 6): It’s very tangy because of the lemon they added, but still an alright pulutan(«street food»). I was hoping for chopped pigs ears and cheeks, but the sliced pork meat is alright. That seems to be the most common way of making it in Jersey. The marinade is solid – tastes similar to something I’ve had before, but it’s good. Although their selection is a bit smaller than the other Filipino restaurant across the parking lot, I like the quality and flavor of their viands here. I wouldn’t mind coming back to try other dishes.

This is a Filipino… dine in/take out place. I don’t really know how to describe it since all the food is ready made and you just pick which one you want to buy. Kind of like cafeteria style. Whatever food they made that day is what’s available. This place is tucked away in a little strip mall so it’s pretty hard to miss. Most people only know about this place from word of mouth because it’s hard to find on your own and the entrance is not exactly enticing. So the 5 stars is only for the food. This is our go to spot for no fuss Filipino food when my family and I are too busy or too tired to cook. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. They also cater and compared to the other Filipino restaurants in this area they have the widest variety of catered food. We recently ordered catered food for Easter and it was delicious! A lot of people in our get together loved it and asked where we got our food catered from. I highly recommend their pancit, pork estopado and beef asado. Unfortunately they don’t have lechon(whole roasted pig) available. When we picked up the food the service was great because they were well organized and helped put the food in your car. They also provided boxes so the food won’t spill on your way home. Definitely recommend this place for daily meals if you don’t feel like cooking. They have a great selection of delicious food and at a reasonable price. The catered food are delicious as well.
