This place is so much better than the generic Teavana and so much more affordable. If you don’t want to pay designer prices for tea that basically tastes the SAME after a little while, David’s Tea would be your next step and delves deeper into the world of loose leaf and actually has organic teas at fair prices. Their teas also don’t taste the SAME and they have a lot more to offer; variety and cooler tea accessories included. I want that matcha maker badly. Like the other reviewer said, their customer service is also outstanding. My favorite tea is their milk oolong.

I’m not a fan of reviewing chainz, but this is the only location in NJ. I love tea. I drink tea at least 3 times a day especially in the wintertime. David’s Tea is a Canadian company and they have a few locations in the United States. This store in located in Menlo Park Mall in the Food Court on the upper level. It’s a small tea shop, but very colorful, bright, warm, and inviting. The staff was exceptional. They know their tea and more importantly, they know good customer service. I popped in yesterday to finally use my gift card and I had a lovely experience sniffing the different loose tea leaves and browsing tea related products throughout the store. They have various kettles, mugs, tea kits, infusers, add ins like organic agave, honey, and treats. I have my eye on this beautiful PINK kettle and mug set.(Ahem, birthday present please!) You can sniff some tea or try samples then buy your tea leaves by the ounce. I chose the organic pure vanilla rooibos and organic cold 911 teas. The bags make about 15 cups. For my sample I chose«birthday cake», a rooibos tea with a taste just like birthday cake. Divine! I also purchased an extra large mug from their last holiday collection. I’ve been looking for a large mug for my tea! This place in heaven for all tea aficionados. I suggested that they do a tea workshop for those less familiar with tea and to learn about the different types of tea leaves. This won’t be my last visit to David’s Tea!
