History
Established in 1999.
Nicole Rennie, PT, BS, GCS, envisioned Senior Abilities Unlimited in the 1990s, after seeing a need for physical therapy for seniors who didn’t qualify for Medicare or insurance-based physical therapy. At that time, patients’ treatments would stop due to the restrictions of Medicare or insurance. A home exercise program would be given to a patient but due to the lack of a trained medical professional at hand to modify exercises as needed and provide motivation to continue, they would still be at risk of falling and their mobility was still limited.
Despite advice from consultants that such a unique service would not work in the marketplace, Nicole took a risk and started the company in 1999. At that time Nicole set up the values and commitment to excellence that has guided the company to this day. The company would focus on only helping patients in their homes that would not qualify for Medicare-covered physical therapy. No other company is known to do this in the country.

Business Owner
Nicole founded Senior Abilities Unlimited, LLC in 1999. She is a board certified specialist in geriatric physical therapy (GCS) and takes pride in the services she offers to her clients.
«In fact, the cost of receiving our service can save money,» said Ms. Rennie. «A senior that is independent requires less professional assistance to remain safely in their home. Along with the fact that they have a greater quality of life, it makes providing this service very rewarding.»
Senior Abilities Unlimited, LLC pioneered the private-pay in-home physical therapy model for seniors in 1999 and still has that unique niche with their proprietary Tandem Strength and Balance® service. Over 85% of their clients have Alzheimer’s disease, are stroke survivors, or have Parkinson’s disease. Oldest client has been 105. Average client is 80.
