Surprising cheap yet stylish stuff.

Generally speaking, for hip men’s clothing, I like LEN a lot. For certain things, they are right on the money. (shirts, hoodies, sweaters, belts, scarves, jackets, etc) For other things, they are very hit and miss (jeans specifically. seriously, how many people are wearing ‘relaxed fit’ designer denim?). The prices are great, and although the store is a little cluttered and messy, it’s an outlet store… so, you know it comes with the territory.
My biggest complaint about LEN is the way they price the items. Yes, everything is 50% off of the «posted» price. But, that is VERY misleading. 99% of the clothes in LEN were NEVER sold for the «full» price. It becomes a psychological mind game with the customer. LEN is spending the time to tag every single item in the store with a price that it has not, and will not, ever be sold at. Why? Just price it correctly!
The impression that all of these clothes came from the main Len Druskin store and are now being offered at a reduced price is a total lie. These clothes were bought specifically for the outlet, and now are being marked at an overly inflated «regular» price to give the illusion of saving a ton of money. It’s borderline dishonest.
Also, why don’t they offer returns?
If you want good, stylish clothes, LEN is a great store. Just don’t be mislead by their deceptive pricing practices.

As you can see from the comment posted below my review… the deceptive pricing practices are not addressed. The fact that they don’t come from the main store actually makes it WORSE. Someone is spending the time to tag each piece of clothing at a price it won’t actually be sold at. What is the point?

I have been frequenting since the outlet opened. I go about every other month and 85% of the time I don’t purchase anything. I wait for the really good deal. Twice I purchased two pairs of $ 80 jeans for less than a $ 20 bill. Although Len is awesome it isn’t what it used to be. I bought thousands of dollars in high end clothing from them back in the day, but not a hidden gem anymore.

If there is an outlet that makes you excited — this is the one. The lay out is nice and organized and makes sense when shopping. The accessories at in the front so you don’t have to hold on to them all the way through.
I got an adorable pair of Michael Kors shoes for $ 40… which is a steal in my eyes. The shoes are great — but if you love them — purchase and don’t look back they won’t be there next time. The clothes are adorable also. Try them on (and be warned even per Jada’s review — it is a shared room that everyone tries things on in.)
I know stores like this are hit or miss to some people — this one is a hit for me! Sign me up for tons of selection — all 50% off — and cover every part of my closet — slide my card and let’s go shopping!

This place is a little hit or miss so be ready to dig, but they have great deals, especially on jeans for men and women. WARNING: The dressing rooms are just one big room where you all change together so just know that going in, it doesn’t bother me but it does bother some people so just know that!
Some of the items can be a little young so you do have to dig but they have great bargains, everything’s ½ price and non returnable so make sure you like it. I’ve found some really great deals, so shop on!

The good: I bought two dress shirts, one a Max Graham and the other INC from there 5 years ago. I still wear them to this day because they fit so well.
The bad: I could have gotten the INC shirt from Macy’s for WAYYY cheaper.
The ugly: Two shirts, $ 275

Just dreadful. About 95% of the store was stocked with crap — really bad, made in China, trying to be cute and trendy but really just shreddy t-​shirt ’89 Bebe-​style crap. I wandered around hoping to find something to redeem it, and saw one pathetic little rack with Splendid and Velvet tees… but they were the bad ones. Elizabeth and James… but they were the fugly overpriced stuff that is STILL made in China.
Shan’t be back. Such a let-​down.

I frequent the Len Druskin outlet – and that’s a strategy. Some days you get nothing, other days you find amazing deals. Patience, young grasshoppers. I don’t shop anywhere else in MN – I shop online or when I’m traveling, but the deals are worth it at Len Druskin.
I don’t care for the front of the store – it’s mostly graphic tees, Ben Sherman and Penguin – maybe a smattering of other brands I just don’t get that excited about. The charm for me is that that is where most people spend their time and they overlook the back room. I’ve found so many deals back there because most people simply don’t recognize the brands or realize their quality. Vince. Trovata. John Varvatos USA. John Varvatos shoes. Modern Amusement. Marc Jacobs for Men. Theory. I generally spend $ 300 per visit and take home about $ 1,200 worth of clothes – so there you go.
I also think the service is top notch – they’ve gotten to know me and make great recommendations for fit and style.
Their retail store is fine as well, just don’t plan on getting any deals.

ALERT, it is an outlet so you will have to sometimes dig a little for those great finds and sometimes they will just be right at your fingertips. I picked up a great vest, a few sweaters, and a tank all for under $ 90. The quality was definitely better than what I usually buy, but so was the price. If your thinking this will be like the regular store, remember it is the outlet. At the regular store I can find great designers like Milly… did not really see anything like that at the outlet.

I have to agree with Jen E. Something’s amiss at the Len Druskin outlet lately. It’s no where what it used to be. Now, I’ll still give it 3 stars, because I’m all about getting a deal, but the calibur and quality of clothes that once used to fill the store have gone downhill. It’s almost like the are running a totally different store here at Southdale than at Galleria. I used to find pieces that were leftover from the main store, hence making it an «outlet.» Like my gorgeous Custo Barcelona dress that I purchased a year or two ago. The types of jeans have changed too. Now we have piles and piles of cheaper clothing that don’t really resemble what the main store is all about. Come on guys, bring back the good old days of the outlet, when it was actually exciting to drop in and see what great deal was waiting!

Hmmm… maybe I missed something? Or went at the wrong time? I stopped by Labor Day weekend with sky-​high hopes and found zilch. Dresses and accessories seemed cheap and tacky, denim selection wasn’t great, and how many oversized cardigans can one store sell? I liked the wide selection of basic tees and tanks, but that’s not what I was looking for. I will say that prices were good and salespeople helpful. But honestly, you can find more in-​season stuff at better prices at H&M, which coincidentally, is opening in Southdale shortly. I know where my money is going.

theres no reason to even go to len druskin… or anywhere else for that matter since outlet brings you name brand clothes for suuuuper cheap… i always stop in once a season to find some new, cute things to add to my closet… true, there are some super weird cheap looking wet seal-​esque items available… but if you keep to the middle/​back of the store… you wont be disappointed… and really, there’s nothing like making away with 700 $ worth of clothes for 300 $

So I finally made it out to this place. I’ve heard so much about it, and finally, I got to experience the greatness myself!
I love finding good deals, especially on clothes. I personally feel, that there are clothes that you buy at full price, and there are clothes that can only be bought at a discount. This store is filled with all the stuff I hate paying full price for. (IE. tank tops, scarves, funky jewelry) I love it. I also enjoy how the store is ran, it is a discount, outlet store, but at the same time, it feels like an actual little boutique store, crammed in the corner of the mall. Definitely worth checking out.

This place is AWESOME. I discovered this place a few months back when I was wandering around Southdale mall (I know, lame.) Everything in this store is half off (or more if you get lucky). For the past few months that I’ve shopped here, I have purchased…

They are all absolutely very cute and very trendy. If it’s daylight and you’re reading this, go. Go drive there right now and check it out. Have a ball!

If you are into expensive designer stuff, but not the designer prices, this place is fun. Im not into designer stuff, but some of it is weird enough and cheap enough that I buy it. Its always fun, and every so often, I find an outstanding deal, designer snobby or not. I found super cute green shoes for 6 dollars… SCORE!

What looks like a garage sale but really has $ 300 jeans at 75% off? Why the Len Druskin Outlet, of course.
Found here for super cheap: J Lindeberg shirts, Seven Jeans, adorable Ben Sherman polos… Attn: out of towners, there is no sales tax on clothing in the good old Minn, so stock up. Also, things tend to go on sale here before other shops. I have seen things full priced elsewhere and majorly discounted here.
There is also a lot of crap that the buyer must get a super awesome deal on, because I swear you would never see half this stuff at the actual Len Druskin, which is arguably the best retail clothing boutique in the Twin Cities.

EXCELLENT selection of dresses, jeans, shoes, tanks, purses, everything! come here for that perfect going-​out outfit and you won’t be disappointed.
