History

Established in 1987.

BenchmarkQA is a software quality assurance consulting company dedicated to bringing the highest level of quality and product integrity to the software industry.

Initially, the company focused on serving companies that developed and sold software based products such as personal computer software, as well as software for embedded medical devices.

Our clients recognized the reason for our success was not only the caliber of our resources, but also the maturity of our quality assurance and software testing processes. We were asked by our clients to develop training seminars that would convey and disseminate our processes to other software quality assurance professionals. Since our first delivery of Structured Software Test Planning (SSTP) in 1991, the course has been continually updated to reflect the current best practices of this dynamic industry. Business Owner

Larry has over forty-​five years of combined experience as a programmer, business systems analyst, project manager, consultant, and business owner. He has a broad knowledge and understanding of the software industry — having witnessed successive «generations» of computers, platforms, operating systems, development environments, software development processes, tools and practitioners.

His various roles have given him a breadth of experience in industries such as insurance, banking, government, manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, accounting, and e-​commerce — in both domestic and international engagements.

As a private, local business owner, Mr. Decklever ensures that his dedication to honesty and integrity is evident in every interaction between BenchmarkQA and their clients, prospects, vendors and business associates.
