I met some friends up here and got a table right away. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We got the Jalapano fried bottle caps as an appetizer and they were good, just the typical fried bar food. I tried the garlic chicken pizza. I ordered a small and it was a very generous portion. It was a punch in the mouth of garlic(which i didn’t mind because I love garlic) however there was tons of butter on it which I wasn’t a huge fan of. There was generous amounts of chicken and chopped tomato. The tomato didn’t really go well with the rest of the pizza. The crust was delicious though and crunchy. Overall it was a pleasant experience but nothing over the top. They do have darts, some video games, and pool which makes it a nice hangout spot.

Good calzones, grinders and garlic bread was great. The pizza sauce was warm and very good as well.

The service at the bar was excellent. I can’t say enough about that. The food was mediocre even for a pizzeria or pub. I think they could have done more with it. I don’t think I would go back unless I was invited by some friends. My wife and I had went tonight to support someone performing a live show. There’s really no room for it. They just perform in the corner. Ultimately, I think this would be a nice lunch spot if I was in the area but other than that I wasn’t impressed.

A buffalo chicken calzone and a bud light draft and I’m good. Love this place. They need to lighten up the bar in the back a touch but I’m always having a good time there. Good company, good food, good service. They are eventually knocking out a wall and putting a bigger bar in. Which makes it even more appealing to me and my friends.

Food is good. Tasty grinders, calzones and pizzas. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. It isn’t the quickest since everything runs through the pizza oven, so if you’re in a rush, I would call ahead. They have live music on the weekends, which is nice, but too loud to carry on a conversation.

I’m from Vegas and was here on vacation. My friend said I had to try it, I was hesitant because, really? Good pizza in Kentucky. It was delicious we had a pizza with bbq sauce, sausage, jalapeños, and pineapple. What I really liked was the crust. It isn’t tough and chewy. Next time I visit I will be back. Also the garlic cheese bread was really good too.

Just gotta love their grinders! Italian grinder w/o the dressing is my favorite. The pizza is very good too.

I visited Garzelli’s yesterday for lunch and they have the BEST grinders in town. For those of you that are not familiar with what a grinder is, they are basically baked hoagies. They run an awesome special for lunch as you can get and 8 inch grinder, chips, and a drink for $ 7. I hear they also have pretty awesome pizza and calzones too. If you are looking for a great place to grab a grinder, this is the one. They weren’t busy at all for lunch so you can be in and out in no time. I just wish they had one on the east side of Cincinnati so I could go more often! Don’t miss it!

Wife and I wanted to try Garzelli’s. We went there and sign said for full service to be seated. We waited for 10 minutes and even though staff was every once in a while out, they never waited on us. So we left for Larosa’s.

I love Garzelli’s. This place is way more chill than anyplace we’ve been in NKY, even having lived here our entire lives. The grinders, pizza & calzones are all great. Drinks are priced right, and there’s live music Thur, Fri & Sat, on the patio if the weather’s right.

I’ve eaten here a few times and usually go for the steak hoagies. I don’t remember if they have two or three sizes on the hoagies, but I keep forgetting that the large is 16″ long. Not the standard 12″. Oh well, leftovers! I typically get mushroom sauce, but at Garzelli’s I get pizza sauce about 50% of the time. I don’t know if they make their own sauce or just amend something they buy but there is a bit of sugar in it to cut down on the acidity of the sauce. I they they might have used a little too much last time, or maybe I never noticed it before. It won’t stop me from getting the pizza sauce again though. The wedge fries are fantastic and always hot. Never had a problem with service or the food, and I would recommend Garzelli’s to anyone looking for a good hoagie in Erlanger.
