Staples the Office Superstore

If I can give this place no stars I would… the copy center is the worse I’ve NEVER EVER had this kind of service ever I called to see if my things were ready and the young lady tells me «oh your the girl who just left and didn’t say anything «mind you she told me if I wanted to have copies to email the store with the size I needed and how many copies which I did… I’ve worked at Office Depot years ago and it would’ve been my ass if I spoke or treated a customer in that manner… the timing that I was given was off as well I was told 15mins at 12:30 then called at 4 and was told to give it another hour… ugh just horrible don’t waste your time if it’s something important not worth it at all

No Service, everything is complicated. This guy here Philips has attitude for customer. Don’t come here

I have a love hate relationship with this store. It’s nearby and they have a lot so it’s nice to go there and get something. Unfortunately time after time after time I’m disappointed by the people that actually work there. On my most recent visit (and this isn’t the first time this has happened) I’ll be next in line waiting while someone is handling a return or another process that will take a long time with one register open and several employees standing around and bs’ing instead of helping. There are more employees then then customers but they still leave you waiting without speaking to you.

Poorest customer service ever!
The copy/​printing service keep you wait for ever and they dont keep their promised time when you go to pick ur order, super poor managnent overal! Most staff I’ve seen are unprofessional and the manager at the time seemed very impolite. stay away from here!!!
No one seems to want to help here, rude and reluctant to customers.

completely understaffed at cash registers, how can it take someone 20 minutes to ring up one person, and ask a million question about rewards and special offers while six people wait in line ?? How can anyone be expected to do their business in THERE !!!

The Copy Center Manager is rude and purposely useless. I have spent close to half an hour to print a double sided sheet! The supervisor boss was too busy in the back room with her ice coffee and bagels she didn’t care to leave me hanging meanwhile my Amex card was being charged for the Internet… She complained numerous times about helping 3 different people at the same time when she was obviously bumming around. I feel sorry for this store management who is so over its head than they just tolerate this behavior, despite the countless complaints… And the look in her eyes when I dared to ask for help was just appalled! Anyone who wants to get anything done should stay away from this place…

WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE PRINT CENTER!!! I can’t believe how rude the older lady is in the print center today. I went into staples today with a report I needed to get spiral bound for my finals today. It was due in an hr. Last time, I came to staples, the young girl was able to get it done for me in less than 5 min. So, today, I walked in, expecting a similar experience, but instead, I encountered the worse customer service in the world.
I walked in the print center, and the older lady was chatting with a customer. I asked if her if she can help me. She basically brushed me off and said she will be out in a few minutes and asked me to wait. She continues to chat away with the customer for atleast 10 min. Then, as she finished, someone walked up to her and asked her a question. And she decided to help that person and led that person to the station where I was sitting. She completely ignored me, and then she walks away to another customer that just walked in the print center with some boxes and show them some instruction on the screen. So I finally went up to her and said, «excuse me, but can you help me?» And her response was, these people were here before you, they just walked away to other parts of the store, and now they are back. So I was like. okay. you are done with them now right. so can you help me? I told her that i just need a report spiral bound. Then she said that she has alot of jobs ahead of me and that if I want to do it, I would have to come back and pick it up 7 hrs later. I had less than an hr to turn in the report and I told her that I just need her to hole punch it for me. I told her that I can put in the spirals myself manually. But she was like no way. So in the end, I had to drive to the Fort Lee Staples location, where the girl was able to do it for me right away. It took her less than 1 min!!! I can’t believe that lady would just chat and chat and waste all that time but refused to spend 1 min to help me put my report together. It was definitely an awful experience that I did not expect. For sure, I would never walk into this store again.

A reviewer below me said they waited a half hour on the phone just to ask a question so they went into the store instead — the opposite happened to me. I went in there to ask a simple question — how long in hours would it take to turn around a small batch of business cards that were pre-​formatted and designed. I waited about 30 min in copy and print center before thinking hmmm maybe I should just ask customer service (that is what customer service is for right?). I did, and they didn’t know the answer So they dragged me to copy and print where I was yelled at because an employee brought me over — not the employee — I got reprimanded. So I left in anger, then called and within 2 seconds got my answer. Then proceeded to call the regional manager to make sure he knew what was going on in Edgewater and how they treat their customers. If only she had taken two seconds to give good customer service and answer my question she probably would still be working at Staples come next week. Terrible place — avoid unless you desperately need something from them that requires no employee interaction.

I recently started going back to this Staples because I live practically next door and it was inconvenient for me to keep running to North Bergen for last minute supplies. I agree with other reviews that previous management was not good and purposely avoided this store because of the old Manager on duty. I have not been to the Ship and Pack Center recently so review is based on store experience only. Not sure how long the new manager has been there but I have found my last three visits (over a month or two) very pleasant. Hopefully, this store continues to move on the upward trajectory because it saves me time and gas to go here.

Pretty awful in almost all ways unless you know exactly what you want and where it is…

Although the person at the Copy Center was helpful in getting me started on my own copy job, the quality of the printing was poor. The glass plates should be cleaned, and the machines tested from time to time. And why is two-​sided copying twice the price per side as one-​sided copying? Only one piece of paper is used…

Let me give an overall rating of THIS store… not just the «copy and printing» area like some people.
This store has gone through some major changes since it first opened up. Here’s what I think of this store…
A long time ago, while shopping for some PC games. I was confronted by a store manager here who politely walked up behind me and said this… «Put that down, and get out of my store. I know you were here last time and you shoplifted.» I don’t really remember the year.
I didn’t know what to do… I told him that he was mistaken and that it wasn’t me. He said that he knew it was me, he remembered me from last time, and to get out before he would call the cops. I couldn’t believe this guy!
I was so mad and embarrassed. All the people looking at me, the only thing I could think of while walking out the door was this, «You’re making a big mistake.» I actually went home and spoke to my dad and sister, they said you should contact a lawyer. We spoke to a family lawyer, who to be honest… was an idiot. He never got back to me, and before long too much time passed. Before I totally forgot about them, I wrote a letter to the Staples company. The first time, I never heard anything, the second time… I got a response saying something like, we have forwarded your e-​mail to their main people. Never heard anything back. I’m writing this now, because if that would’ve happened to me today. Forget about it. It’s easier to bully a kid, but I will never forgive this store. Yes, an honest mistake, but still a mistake. I never got an apology.
I have been back, and every time I walk in I still think about that day. The store is completely redone since that time. The people here are somewhat friendly, although some are completely rude. I remember waiting on line, I was next. The cashier walked away. I looked at her like, hello… She said, «Go over there to pay.» Pointing at the customer service desk which also has a register. What’s going on Staples?

The Copy and Print Area lacks customer service. I visit regularly and the service is just non existent. I went to the desk and the lady in the back ask me did I need help? I am standing at the counter of course I need assistance. If FedEx was around I would be going there.

Still haven’t had my ¹²⁄₂₄ poor excuse for customer service remedied. Guess the Office of the President is back logged with managing the social media from the winter holiday!

I called to ask about a promotion that they were running from the Copy and Printing Center and said they could do it in store. Came in and then had to explain to the employee what their promotion entailed and then the employee told me I had to do it online. Thank you for wasting my time.
