Wonderful place for brunch, lunch or dinner. Danielle the server is top notch and on point with her service everytime. She’s attentive and always has a bright smile! I enjoy the French dip, burgers and can’t forget the strawberry cheesecake.

This place (along with the sister bar Teller’s in Golden) are where my boyfriend and I go regularly for brunch. At this point I think we’ve tried everything on the menu for brunch except the chicken fried steak. I’ve loved everything I’ve had. I love that they have great options for if you feel like a sweet breakfast or savory. Plenty of different kinds of benedicts too.
The real deal is on the drinks! $ 3 make your own bloodys (perfect for making them extra spicy or pickle-​y. yum!) and $ 1 or $ 3 mimosas depending on the size. Great option for when you need that hair of the dog cure the morning after.
Get there right around 10 to beat the crowds and find a parking spot.
Looks like they do live music, karaōke, and bingo on certain nights. Pretty cool but I’ve never been here for dinner so I can’t speak to the quality of that food. Just know that I love this place for brunch!

$ 10 for a plate of chips, cheese, tomatoes and giant chunks of onions is too much. No salsa, no sour cream, no guacamole. I’ve been coming here for 8 years. It’s gotten more expensive, but the quality has gone down, if anything. We come there at least twice a month. That won’t be happening for a long, long time.

I have been coming here about a year now and all I can say is I bring all my out of town guests here! Great atmosphere and the food is amazing too! Check out their daily specials– you won’t be disappointed!

Everything I’ve gotten here was good, although a bit pricey. I’ve ordered the chicken and waffles, the eggs benedict, the reuben, and the pork sandwich. Their kitchen is open late too, and they have pretty fun nightly events. They also serve Hoegaarden which is one of my favorite beers. Great neighborhood bar.

The green Chile burger was passable, but the onion on the side looked days old, looked very dry and old. Told the waitress about it and she argued. The manager was a little more customer service oriented, but by then it was to late. Won’t go back, was too expensive for the food received even if the onion wasn’t garbage.

Pulled Pork Benedict, brunch bloody bar & mimosas. That’s basically all you need to know.
The location is buried back in a quiet little street in Edgewater. The parking isn’t too bad for brunch. They open at 10am, so be there at 10am if you’ve got a group or kids. They have limited high chairs. They do take reservations too.
The setting is a nice old style bar. They have kids coloring books and toys to keep them occupied.
The biggest drawback I’ve had here is the speed of service, every time. Go in with patience, and you’ll keep coming back.

I LOVE burgers, but the one I got here (southwestern for $ 10 no less) was very «meh». I ordered it medium rare, and there was no pink in it at all — and it was very thin and definitely not juicy. The fries were pretty bland, also, your standard frozen from a bag and nothing to write home about.
The service was fine, but if the food isn’t good, I’m not going to give a good rating just based on the service.

So, sitting here at Sloans, enjoying the prime rib… Yes, redemption. Great steak… staff on point. Starting to love the place. Kitchen seems to finally get it. I’m in… manager has it under control.

Went for a nice Sunday brunch fun out of town ace man was it great! Got eggs Benedict that was amazing with a heavenly sauce. Tasty mimosas too. Hashbrowns were the only letdown to an otherwise perfect breakfast.

I had a good time here. The food was good — the tomato soup was probably the best I’ve had in awhile. Seems like they had fun stuff going on throughout the weekend and even on week nights.

A good reliable neighborhood bar with good eats.
I’m a huge burger fan and this place does not disappoint. Delicious juicy burgers with crispy yummy fries. Top it off with a pint of your favorite brew and what more could you want in life?
Big bar and large seating area. We came here a few times for trivia. Really hard to hear the trivia questions in the bar. Service is okay and parking is a little annoying. Price is right.
Great spot to grab lunch! I get excited when I am in the area for work around lunch time. I always suggest Sloans!

I have become a regular here for brunch! Dollar mimosas and veggies bennies with the best service! Yum yum!

Sodas are served in big, icy mason jars (yes!). The menu is a huge hodgepodge of diner food and seafood, offering something for pretty much anyone. The staff was friendly and patient (when I asked 9 bazillion questions prior to placing my order — much to the chagrin of my dining companion). Sorry, I am indecisive… or am I? ;)
Our food was solid. Both of us enjoyed our sandwiches and thankfully, the fries were extra crispy, as requested (soggy fries are NO BUENO). Both the companion and I gave the food a solid «good» rating. We are both originally from NY and are harsh diner style establishment critics, so «good» is probably great to most others.
I would definitely recommend Sloan’s to anyone who can’t decide what to have for dinner, since they have a little bit of everything. Looking forward to going back and having a go at the seafood next time.

I returned for happy hour and dinner with my neighbors yesterday. I ordered the special of the day which was fried chicken accompanied by a corn on the coblet and garlic mashed potatoes. My neighbors ordered the fish and chips. Everything was delicious, served quickly and arrived hot. We also shared an order of the peel and eat shrimp which was seasoned perfectly and enough for all 3 of us. I suggest that you arrive before 5 PM otherwise you may have to wait for a table.

The MOST important thing to know about Sloan’s: They have an AMAZING bloody mary bar! If you like bloody’s, you must come here for brunch on Saturday or Sunday. This is the standard to which all bloody mary bars should hold themselves. Seriously, you will not be disappointed. There are several mixes to chose from, dozens of hot sauces, interesting add-​ins like spicy green beans, and everything from bouillon to celery powder. They also offer infused vodkas (pickle, garlic, jalapeño) for $ 1 more. Pro Tip: you can also add in infused pickle, garlic, and jalapeño juice at the bloody mary bar itself, so you might as well save a dollar by ordering the well. Then you can use the money you save to get yourself a cheap ($ 1) mimosa!
Although the bloody’s get 5+ stars, nothing else about this place particularly wows me. Food wise, the prices are a bit high for what you get. A comparable meal at the nearby Providence Tavern is much cheaper, and so it’s hard for me to justify ordering food here unless it’s brunch. They do have some pretty good drink specials though, and there is a decent– albeit rarely rotating– selection of beer on tap.

Returned to Sloan’s because I wanted to give it another try. My boyfriend and I were headed to a movie and stopped in for a quick bite, and the wait staff was great at getting us in and out. He got a cheeseburger and was very happy with it. I had a side salad and the French onion soup, which was delicious, especially given the frigid temperatures that day!
A friendly local restaurant… if I were again in the area and hungry, I would have no issues stopping by!

Been here twice, once with the baby, once without. When we took the baby, we went during the afternoon so that we knew it wouldn’t be too crowded. Don’t think we would have maneuvered well during a dinner rush unless dumping the stroller somewhere outside :)
Great service, and good burgers. I had the Royal Burger complete with Corned beef and an egg, it was good and a bit messy. The other trip I had a French Dip Sandwich… great as well. I want to try the Brie Melt next time :) Yummy.
Parking is small, so be prepared to park on the street and walk. Great little neighborhood so I have not minded parking.

Solid four star choice.
Had the burger with bleu cheese and bacon last night. Loved it. Had fish and chips on a previous occasion and liked it as well.
Beer prices are way reasonable. Hit some $ 4 modus hoperandi’s here on more than one occasion. Very stoked on that. Plus the birthday bar tab of $ 25 is awesome.
Great service.
Ample televisions around so you can catch the game.
