Professional Arts Academy specializes in dance classes for children of all ages. We offer Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater, HipHop, Acro, Angelina Ballerina, Tiny Tots, Mommy and Me, Voice and piano lessons.

We have classes for everyone, ages 12 months — senior citizens.

History

Established in 2010.

Professional Arts Academy was built in fall 2010. We bring quality education in the Performing Arts to the Hudson/​Bergen area. All faculty have extensive credits ranging from Broadway, National tours, movies, television, opera, regional theater, and more.

My daughter is 9. We’ve been with Pro Arts for 4 years now and we love it! She takes dance, musical theatre and vocal classes. The teachers are professional, creative and very experienced. the real deal. They are also gifted teachers who are strong, serious and at the same time, nurturing and motivating. My daughter loves being a part of the «Pro Arts» family, she can’t get enough. She is thriving as a dancer and as a singer learning new skills and techniques, staying fit and flexible and loving every minute. As a dance company student, she also has performances throughout the year for local charities and events, as well as competitions and workshops. Great experiences! We’re so grateful.

As a former dancer myself, I am highly critical of dance studios… Pro Arts has proven to be the BEST option for my kids and the community since it opened its doors! I’ve watched its growth and I have seen first hand why it is so successful. The owners poor their heart and soul into this school and into each student who attends. They foster the love of dance and performing arts so thoroughly, and I am grateful my kids have had the chance to experience it! My daughter (8) has a wonderfully creative side, though she only opens when she trusts the environment. I have seen her just blossom at Pro Arts! My son (5) also tried out musical theater last year, and he learned more in one season than most students learn in 3 years! He came home and showed me how he was READING MUSIC! Again, he is 5 years old! He told me all about why downstage is called downstage, etc… He sparkled onstage because he loved what he was doing and wanted to make Miss Maureen proud.
The faculty here is professional and passionate, the business itself is extremely organized and well-​run, and the beautiful outcome is evident. Just watch their amazing end of the year performance!
I couldn’t be happier with a dance studio– they’ve earned five stars from this former-​dancer-​mom!

My two and a half year old daughter absolutely loves going here every week. Signing her up for classes here was one of the best things I have done for her. She really is learning things very well, even better than I had hoped. She practices her routines at home too. She really loves her teacher Miss Maureen too. She is so patient with all the little girls!
