This place is a joke. Ive never had a bad job done on my toes and nails. How can you mess up? Its not rocket science. I shouldve just done it myself. Its 35 dollars in the trash.
The water for my pedicure is COLD. When I told her its cold, shes oblivious!!! After my third time telling her i just give up. It was at best luke cold warm. The lady who did my nails didn’t really do much. She literally slabbed on the exfoliator gel then just rinsed it off. Then she looked at me to see if i noticed. Her massage sucks and hurts. She clipped my cuticles so much my pinky bled. And you will see my pictures the shape n color of my nails are disgusting. Though i did nick my right index finger but other than that this is the worst nail experience ever.

If I could choose no star, I would have selected no star! I went to Nobel Nails and Spa after seeing pictures of perfectly-​done nails posted on Unilocal.DON’T TRUST THOSE PICTURES. I
don’t understand how this place has good reviews. I got mani and pedi from two different people and they both did a terrible job! The lady who was sitting next to me also complained for getting a messy service. Both of the mani and pedi were done extremely fast (they were not busy at all) and I have sooooo much air-​bubbles trapped in my nails. Not only that, they didn’t even file my nails straight… I went there with my sister and her mani and pedi were done equally terrible as mine…

I came here because I needed a mani and pedi and saw they had a deal for a powder gel mani and a pedi for $ 53. Considering I usually pay about $ 40 for my acrylic and $ 15 – 20 on a pedi at my usual salon this sounded like a great deal. The pedicure was extremely fast and lasted only about 15 minutes. There was almost nothing done in the way of softening except for a quick 5 second scrub on each foot. The pedicure looked fine but when I really got a chance to look it was extremely messy.
I had never gotten a powder gel mani before but I decided to try it since they said it was as strong as acrylic. For anyone that wants to know, the powder gel is where they coat the nails with a gel and dip it into the colored powder of your choice and repeat about 3 – 4 times and the nails air dry. It feels just like a regular gel mani but there’s no UV. Not sure how well they will hold up but I’ll update this if anything.
The woman doing the manicure made it very obvious that she was trying to hurry me out as she took no time to push back or fix my cuticles. She started at them with the electric file which she ended up shredding my cuticles with multiple times making my cuticles bleed. Very careless. I had shown her a picture of the shape I wanted and she said she could do it. The shapes she left me with were extremely irregular and looked nothing like what I wanted. I had to tell her how to file them to get them to the right shape. They never ended up the way I wanted but I just stopped asking her to fix them because she kept filing off the sides of my nail leaving the sensitive part of the skin exposed, if that makes sense. The nails didn’t even come out the color I was told they would be, even though I confirmed with them after seeing that the powder was much darker than the nail swatch I had chosen. I believe they ended up charging me an extra $ 5 to have extensions on my nails which I figured by the total they gave me
All in all I have never felt so unwanted in a business. They have really nice deals but considering the quality of the service and the employees lack of hospitality or regard I don’t think I’ll be back. I’d rather pay a little more to have my nails done right and by people who appreciate my business (that’s how you have returning cutomers) than get a deal from people who care more about going home than spending the extra couple of minutes to make sure the customer is happy.
Other things to note: they do accept credit cards, they don’t have a very large selection of nail polish and there is only street parking.

I usually rave about this place but today, I’m HIGHLY annoyed with their lack of respect for customers. I called in and scheduled an appointment for 6:15 PM. I arrived on time for the service that I booked only to be told that they couldn’t do a simple fill-​in and asked if I could come back tomorrow. Where in the world is that okay? I drove here for a service that YOU agreed to and you cancelled ONCE I ARRIVED? I’d say that’s enough for me to take my business elsewhere!

My very dry feet desperately needed a pedicure so I went to Nobel nails. Upon arrival, I found out that this place is under new management; it is cleaner and brighter. I was greeted by very friendly staff and they were patient and helpful with picking the nail colors. This time I decided to try their green tea spa. The lady literally scrubbed off tons of dead skin from my feet, and my skin feels so smooth and hydrated after the paraffin treatment. My favorite part is the 10 minutes hot stone massage, it was heavenly! I wish it would last forever. Overall, the pedicurist did a really good job. I’m so happy to have my pretty feet back.
Okay I don’t usually do my hands because the nail polish gets chipped off easily but because I was in a good mood I decided to make my plain hands pretty too. They patiently explained and introduced to me the new powder gel that does not involve the use of UV light, thus causing less damage to the nails. I was so impressed with the result! Amanda was my nail technician, she’s so skillful and friendly; I highly recommend her.
Update: I received so many compliments about my nails from my friends and strangers. Thanks to Nobel! I am definitely going back again!

I don’t always treat myself to a mani/​pedi, but when I do, I visit Nobel’s (location is very convenient for me, and prices are agreeable: I paid $ 43 for a pedi and gel mani +tip).
I walked into Nobel’s to follow my sister and my mom, we were all attended to very promptly. The lady who did my pedi was good, she took her time and did not rush.
It was when we sat down for our mani, everything went downhill. Literally in the middle of trimming my cuticles a customer walks in, my sweet lady gets up, with no verbal explanation towards me and attends to her new customer’s pedi/​spa (I tried to understand this as maybe the other woman was a regular and/​or maybe she had an appointment but none of this was explained) I was left hanging there for over 10 minutes.
In the meantime, other customers walk-​in and ask how long the wait is, and another worker simply says «not long» (HELLO I’M STILL HERE UNATTENDED). Another 5 minutes later, I start complaining towards my mom about how I think they might’ve forgotten about me and the same lady who said «not long» comes over to my table and starts butchering my cuticles. She was rushing and clipping through my skin. (Yes, RUSHING because she didn’t even bother to sit across from me, she was standing there barely looking at my hands while clipping through)
I understand that the business values the quantity of customers walking in, but they disregarded the fact that already seated customers still needed taking care of.
A gentleman took care of the color for my gel mani (he’s the only male worker that I’ve seen there and he’s very nice and took care of my color very nicely) although, just a day later the gel is already chipped.
It seemed like more customers tried to walk in and the first few who were waiting walked out (I was glad about those two walking out– it was obvious that the workers were not very attending)
I’m happy for the other reviews who have had great experiences in this place but I must say I will never prioritize location over quality of service ever again. I will never recommend this place to my family and friends either.
This place deserves a 1 star but I’m not trying to ruin this business, just sharing my personal experience.

This used to be Metamorphosis, with two awesome Japanese women who took particular attention! Was here yesterday and as soon as two new customers came in, lady doing my nails left me. They did the same to my daughter, made us wait half an hour while they prepped the newcomers. She killed my cuticles, obviously rushing to finish. 22 hours after, UV Gel is peeling. So disappointed. Not coming back.

This has become my new nail salon
And I did a non uv gel powder which rec by Amanda, she did a great job and it lasts me for 3 week without any issue. I’m happy

Totally worth the 30 min drive ! I love coming here they are so caring ! I would come here just for the amazing massages ! the time you are getting your massage feels like you are walking on a cloud they really get your stress out both times I catch myself with my eyes closed relaxing ! I also saw this with other customers! You feel like a new person after that! they accommodated me on a busy Saturday day ! I had a really long day and mentioned I was hungry they all offered me crackers really yummy ones actually and made me «rose tea» so lovely! Amanda always provides great customer service and it’s so fun to work with ! She is def an important voice when it comes to working with what I have in mind and what she delivers with her work! Bringing my loved ones here ! Because they are the best ! Also they stamp a rewards card each time you go you are really being rewarded

I an very disappointed. I’ve gotten my nails done in several cities and states before and this was the worst. No wonder why they’re $ 5 cheaper on their gel nail than other places. As others have mentioned, not rude, but they don’t understand or speak eng at all. I have gone to nail salons where the workers can’t really speak english, but it was never this hard to communicate. They cannot understand simple words so don’t go if you don’t speak chinese. Also this was the worst in that they were rushing everything. I know others are waiting but i’ve been to other nail salons where they were rushing as well. But it was never this bad!!! She really rushed it, didn’t really let me choose my color (which was obnoxious) i just had to go with any color b/​c she kept rushing me and of course it sucked!!! I just tipped them, no thank you and just stormed out. Never coming again.

Very clean nail salon with fast and gentle technicians. I got a green tea package pedicure and a fill-​in for my nails. My feet were rough after a trip to Japan that had me walking miles on end. My boyfriend instantly noticed the difference lol. They don’t bs the pedicure either, they take their time and give you a proper scrub, mask and massage.
They also offer massages, facials and waxing which I will try sometime in the future. They have gel, and powder gel available.
When they filled in my acrylic it went by so fast I couldn’t believe it. I got my nails coffin shaped and the precision this tech had you can tell shes been doing nails for years. Definitely coming back!

I love it here. Everyone is nice and professional. I tried the no UV light gel powder, and my nails come out amazing. Prices are reasonable and you receive a spa like atmosphere. Amanda did my nails, and Nina did my pedicure. And the best part, free parking conveniently located right behind it.

This place has become such a disappointed. My first experience was great. The gel manicure lasted 3 weeks. Since my first visit I’ve had two other gel manicures done and within a week the gel chips or worse my nail breaks. I went 7 days ago and already need another manicure. To top it off, they are incredibly rude. The lady who sits are the very first table (i assume the owner) really sets a great example for her employees how to make her customers feel extremely uncomfortable.
I’m giving 2 stars because the gentleman who does my pedicure is good. If it wasnt for him, this place would get 1 star from me.

My fave local nail salon! Very close, friendly and nails last a long time! Last time I tried the non uv light gels and they masted me a full month, which is unheard of for me! Service is impeccable, I just say!

The place is cute and quite clean which was a plus for me (which is why I gave them two stars) and they were attentive. The quality of their polish is poor. My pedicure after 4 hours of drying then smudged (how I don’t know but it happened) and my gel mani I got lasted 3 days and it started peeling — yes, THREE days. That’s the worst part of it all because I have received other gel manis where 2 weeks later there is not one piece peeling.
They also had a dog that someone constantly had to be attending to and although I appreciate the animal friendly attention to the hound, constantly leaving the client to attend to the barking dog just doesn’t seem like an option. Hire someone to attend to the hound fulltime or leave them elsewhere.

Great salon! Nice staff and clean facility.
Only thing I would say, if it’s a weekend or Friday night, make an appointment. It can get pretty busy and they won’t be able to accommodate you.

Sadly I’m pretty disappointed. I thought since this place had amazing reviews that it would be great. I give two stars because they were at least friendly and very clean. But what you will see in the photo I posted, is a big no no. The atrocity of my cuticle that was basically butchered. As soon as she realized she shoveled my cuticle like ice on the ground… she slowed down and did it the right way like a human being. Still unexceptable to even attempt to push back someone’s cuticles with such force.
I was asked of I wanted a quick dry top coat I was like ok sure. which was an extra $ 1. OK no biggie on the extra buck but it didn’t dry my nails any quicker. It took my nails over an hour to be fully dry. I’m a massage therapist and I had work today, I had to work with a messed up finger. Covered it up with a bandage and finger glove. I don’t think I’ll be back here. I received no apology for what was done and not even a comp on the quick dry coat which was a rip off to begin with. That’s not how customer service should be when you make a mistake!

Soo im leaving another review because I had another amazing experience at nobel nail salon. Unfortunately luis doesn’t work there anymore. Its a whole complete new staff which are really nice! I was a little worried because I’m so use to luis but they did an amazing job. They took their time and did everything very well. I’m going to post a picture of my nails so you guys can see. Don’t let the fact that theres a new staff discourage you from going cause they are just as nice and amazingly talented as the staff before them. I have to give a shoutout to feeny (sorry if i spelled it wrong) ask for feeny shes amazing! She even introduced me to a nail trend I’ve never heard of before. Instead of uv gel she uses powder it acts just like the uv gel without the chemicals or any damage to your nails and I love it! It air drys and its pretty cool. Please give them a try! Highly recommend them!

I am in love-​hate relationship with this salon. The price is cheaper compared to other nail places in town. I’ve been coming to this salon many times since they opened. i always got gel nails done by Cici who is so sweet and does a nice job.
But on couple recent trips Cici was not available so i got my nails done by different tech. The tech was nice and polite but not so meticulous. She kept painting on the skin and went back with her nails to scrape them off so many times. I have sensitive skin and the skin around my fingertips felt sore afterwards. Also gels were painted so close to my cuticle it started peeling off after 1 week.
On a different occasion i got a regular mani painted by one of their male techs and it looked like they were painted by a little kid and of course, it lasted for only 3days then began chipping.
I guess like many other salons your experience depends on who you’re nail tech is. But for this place the experience can be on two very different spectrum.

I went back to Nobel Nails today for a pedicure; the staff has completely changed! As usual, they are extremely courteous and welcoming. The young man who did my pedicure did an extremely thorough job. He was so polite! Overall I am happy… you can’t beat this $ 18 pedicure! They took away the discount with cash and there is no paraffin treatment for your heel (as was previously included in the basic pedicure), but I am still a very happy customer. This is also by far the cleanest nail salon I have ever been to.

This place is a block away from where I live, needless to say I really wanted to love it !! I have tried this place on 3 different occasions when my regular manicurist was not available. I do not know if the quality of their products is lacking but their gel nail polish never lasts more than a few days before it begins to chip. A gel manicure typically lasts me about two weeks, so having it chip within a few days is unacceptable. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, but you don’t get what you pay for.

Best experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon and I’ve been to PLENTY.
Linda did my gel mani/​spa pedi and she was aaamaazingggg. So glad I finally found a nail salon close to home. The prices are also great for the service you get! I will definitely be back.

Such an excellent salon! Today was my first time going there after I fired my nail tech today from negligence and being unprofessional. The area that I live in on Blvd east in North Bergen it’s hard to find a good nail tech. There are great manicurist but I need a good UV gel set lol. I find myself driving to New York just to get the job done. Then today I met Louis and he was the bomb! Very professional but friendly so friendly by the time I left the salon I felt like he was my long time friend doing my nails :-). I showed him a picture of what I wanted, we changed a few things and BOOM there you are! :-)
I really like this place most because I felt like I had a great time. Relaxing music, a beverage offered, great manicures & pedicures with our favorite colors and brands in gel and regular polish. Modern environment and there massages are excellent too! If you live in the area honey you must must must go! Oh and I forgot to tell you I got a coupon or 2 in my price Enjoy Ladies! I got my nails done there a couple weeks ago with a friend, and while the manicure was moderately satisfactory, my nails started breaking a week after getting them done. I’ve been getting my nails done for quite some time and they never ever break like this. Three nails within one week started becoming brittle so I had to cut them all down when they were grown about ¾ of an inch. The establishment itself is really nice, I enjoyed the massage chairs. I also went with a friend who was completely neglected by the staff, told to wait on the side for her acrylics to be done. I did like my pedicure which is the reason I’m leaving 3 stars instead of two.
There were two people at the establishment who could do acrylics, one had an appointment which I understand but a walk-​in was taken before her (while she patiently waited). Maybe it had something to do with the fact she was black, I don’t know. She was left to sit there doing nothing for over an hour while she waited for me, which was in my opinion ridiculous.

Had my nails done a week ago at Nobel Nails for the first time. I had a gel color manicure with design. A week later my nails still look good and doesn’t appear to peel off. (I had a gel color manicure at another place very close by and within a few days the polish started to peel off which is not supposed to happen). I will definitely return again.

A few miles from my house and sort of out of the way but I would definitely come back! Nice quiet place and super busy on Saturdays! But the owner was so nice and even advised us to not pay the meter since we parked right out front. Workers don’t speak much to you but the manicurist who did my nails took his time with my nails and did a great job. $ 25 for a gel manicure

I think I’ve found my nail care home! I called in the same day I was looking to get my nails done and was given an appointment for 30 minutes later (which was perfect). Parking was easy and as soon as I walked in, I was able to be seated to get started. For my full set and that wonderful massage, I only paid $ 50 + plus tip. That’s WAY better than most places I’ve visited in the area in the past. The salon: peaceful, welcoming and clean. The quality of work: SUPERB! I’m more than happy and will definitely visit again and again!

I went for a basic manicure and pedicure and enjoyed a pampering session on a Sunday afternoon.
The place looks nice and simple. It has three pedicure chairs and 3 – 4 nail stations. There are also a few waxing rooms in the back. The place doesn’t have an upscale feel in décor but is clean and welcoming.
I came on a Sunday which was a quiet day for the salon. I was taken to a pedicure chair and offered some tea and cookies.
The staff was very friendly. The girl doing my pedicure did a good job scrabbling my feet in a gentle way without making me swirl in the chair like a worm (I am very ticklish and that’s my default reaction to pedicures).
I enjoyed the manicure as well. As part of the treatment they dipped my hands in wax creating a wax hand mask. It looked a bit odd at first but made my hands feel soft.
Finally, the one things I enjoyed the most was that they had English programing on TV. In many of the salons in the area the television plays shows in another language and seems like the entertainment is for the people who work in the place and not for guests. Here I could watch a funny show, relax and feel pampered for an hour or so.
Recommended.

— a regular pedicure with a paraffin heel wrap and 5 minute leg massage.
— a regular manicure with a paraffin hand dip.
— a 10 minute back and neck massage at the drying station.
— complimentary biscuits and tea.
— coupons and loyalty punch card for future visits.(10^th visit gets you some free service. Didn’t read details)
That’s a whole lot of bang for your buck in a very relaxing and friendly environment.
Street parking is a giant PITA, but there’s a municipal parking lot nearby and allegedly parking in the rear. I didn’t know about the latter, but inquire within if you find yourself in a parking bind.

Highly recommend! The manager here did my nails and he did a great job! I love the fact he even warn me when I was getting long tips for my nails that I should be careful. Great massage, reasonable to almost cheaper than any salon, small space but relaxing atmosphere and they gave me a cup of green tea (also an option if you want water)! I needed it from my long day of working. I’ve tried nail salons in my area (bergen county) but none of the salons did a good job. The other salons in the fort lee area I’ve tried always messed up my nails and I never had a satisfaction after I got out of the salon. But this nail salon I came out happy and looking at my nails WITH satisfaction. The nail artists are attention to detail with doing nails and I absolutely love that in a nail artist. Their equipments are clean as well. I guarantee this place will give you a good nail salon experience.
I believe just cause a store looks appealing (like other nice big salons) DOES not mean they do a good job with your nails. What matters is the skill and customer service that the person can offer. This place. I can’t stop saying it but please. Go!
By the way my nails are at week 3 and it still looks great!

Woohoo! As good as it gets!
As soon as I walked in, the staff was very inviting and helpful. My plan was to get a regular mani and pedi (saving money, you know) but at the end due to the great price on a gel manicure ($ 25) in area like Edgewater, I went for it!
The young lady started on my pedicure ($ 18) and to my surprise she did a good job on cleaning my toes! Digging! Most Asians like to focus on an arousing foot massage (nothing against asians by the way) and personally it’s not my priority.
Nevertheless, she did a five minute massage and it was pleasant.
Of course, I wanted to match my toes with my nails so a young gentleman, super hip and cool was pleasant and patience enough to give me the perfect wine-​burgundy nail color. I say patience because I was being a little pain-​in-​the-​ass.
He did a wonderful job on cutting my cuticles and the gel manicure still looks fresh today. (I’m on day 8).
I don’t do waxing but for those who do, I find the prices to be reasonable too.
There is no doubt I will be coming back!
