What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon on a leisurely shopping filled Saturday! At first glance, we thought this was a high end boutique that we would just browse through quickly. Found some great pieces at very reasonable prices. I haven’t been to other consignment stores in this area, so don’t have much to compare it to, but the staff were friendly and pleasant and this was an enjoyable stop!

Like the St. Paul store, Encore Eden Prairie caters more towards the JJill/​Chico woman in the 4 – 12 range. There is also a heavy Ann Taylor LOFT presence, more than I have seen at any other consignment store, but the pieces are pretty boring basics.
There was no clearance section like the St. Paul store; clearance items when I went were stuffed on the rack with the regular priced clothes. Prices are affordable, but hover in the $ 20 – 40 range.
Personally I didn’t like this store enough to make another return trip or add it to my list of go-​to consignment stores, but if you live in the area you might be able to find a few pieces to plump up your work wardrobe… if you work that is. ;)
