Freedom Videography offers quality affordable wedding videography in Wisconsin and Minnesota. We also design a website for every bride and groom so they can share photos, videos, comments, directions, RSVP information, and much more with family and friends. Each website is hosted on our servers for free, for a year, so that you can share those special memories all year long!

We have five affordable packages to choose from, which include the filming of the Rehearsal, the rehearsal dinner, the getting ready session at the salon on the morning of the wedding, the filming of the ceremony, the limo ride, and the reception including the dinner, speeches, first dances, the bouquet toss and garter toss, the dollar dance, and all of the other special dances and games that you may have at your wedding. History

Established in 2009.

In June of 2008 my (Chris’s) brother Chad got married. At the last minute his videographer dropped out, so on a complete impulse purchase we picked up a tripod and camcorder on the way out to his wedding. I was the best man so my wife Kara ended up filming the wedding, including the ceremony, reception, speeches, interviews, and all the fun moments of that day.

After giving the Finished DVD’s to friends and family, we kept getting showers of complements on the final product, and so we filmed several friend’s weddings in 2008 as a fundraiser for a mission trip to Mexico, then again in 2009 as a fundraiser for the adoption of our daughter Ruthie, and then in late 2009 we made this hobby an official business.

Since then we’ve filmed nearly 50 weddings across Wisconsin and Milwaukee, most of which were in HD resolution. Now, having worked with 6 different shooters, 4 different editors, we’re at the top of the search engines, and we’re contacted almost daily by brides looking for us.

Business Owner

Chris Wensink grew up in a tiny town called Gibbsville, WI over in Sheboygan County. He attended several small Christian Schools growing up, then earned his Bachelor’s Degree from DeVry University in 2004 in Network and Communications Management. For over 10 years he has worked as a computer, video, and web professional, creating satisfied customers all over the midwest. Chris holds IT certifications in Network+, A+, Linux+, Master Certified Internet Webmaster Designer, CCNA and Wireless#. Chris has also spent over 500 hours studying the consepts of SEO or Search Engine Optimization through books, podcasts, websites, forums and training videos. He currently works full time for Sage Software out of his home in Eau Clarie, WI, and he does IT consulting work for local businesses and individuals. Chris is also the owner and operator of Freedom Videography along with his wife Kara, who works with Freedom full time while staying home with Ruthie, Chris and Kara’s daughter
