Our priority is to deliver quality periodontal care to informed patients in a comfortable and convenient setting. Our practice is equipped to handle your dental needs from the treatment of periodontal diseases to complex dental problems, as well as placement of dental implants. We believe that a healthy mouth is crucial to having a healthy body. We take pride in giving our patients excellent care and service. Prior to any treatment, we explain our findings and welcome our patients’ questions. We look forward to working with you to achieve optimal oral health.

History

Established in 1983.

After completing his postdoctoral education in periodontics in 1983, Dr. Pylant moved to Athens and began a private periodontal practice. He has over 20 years of dental implant experience and has completed various continuing education courses in the fields of periodontics and dental implants to keep current with trends and procedures. Dr. Pylant’s main practice is located in Athens, GA. He opened this satellite office in the Lake Oconee area in 2005, which operates on select Mondays.

Business Owner

Dr. Neal Pylant is originally from Marietta, Georgia, where he graduated valedictorian from Marietta High School in 1973. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he attended dental school at The Medical College of Georgia and graduated in 1981. He then returned to The Medical College of Georgia for a postdoctoral degree in periodontics.

Since 1983, Dr. Pylant has completed various continuing education courses in the fields of periodontics and dental implants to keep current with trends and procedures, and he has over 20 years of dental implant experience.

Dr. Pylant is happily married. He lives in Athens and has four children.
