History
Established in 1997.
Otters Pond B&B is a realization of the innkeepers’ dream to live in one of the planet’s most beautiful sites while realizing our personal and professional strengths. We started the business from «square-one» in 1997 and, through savvy internet marketing and networking (locally and statewide) became a preferred destination on Orcas Island for B&B enthusiasts. Our business operation models are based largely on our experiences with small inns in western Europe where quiet, homey, intimate, high quality, unobtrusive hosting is desired.
Otters Pond Bed and Breakfast is located on the eastern, mountainous side of Orcas Island close to Moran State Park at the base of Mt. Constitution and 4 miles from Eastsound Village. The lodging property is a protected wetland and special retreat for birds, birders and Orcas Island wildlife. Orcas Island is an artists’ island and a great venue for kayaking, orca whale watching and hiking. We offer excellent concierge services!
