Mill Road Wine and Liquor

I can’t speak for the person who gave the bad review, but I have always found the folks here to be very friendly and helpful. Good selection, too.
And if you like good takeout, the Japanese next door and the Chinese across the street are very good. Free parking as well.

Unfortunately I feel I had to write this review after this experience I just had. It was my first time here and here is what happened. I was looking for something specific so I saw the lone worker (worked tonight about 5pm) ringing someone up so I waited. Once that gentleman was done I started to
question and the worker stopped put up her hand and

turn. There was no one else in the vicinity of the cash Register. She then calls. someone who. I guess was next according to her from the back of the store. That is ok that this guy went first but the way she put up. her hand and then
.out was uncalled.for. so I waited again which was fine. Anyway once it’s my turn once more, she says «what did you want?,» in a sarcastic way. I
question and then another customer comes
once I walked away to the wine and she asked why she was rude to me and I. didn’t have an answer. When I. went to.go.pay the cashier brought it.up.again and. said «did you finally find. what you wanted?» I said yes. and thought that phrasing was odd too. Anyway she then mentions the line thing and I said. since you.mention it.I.felt.disrespected by how. she
and her response. was «well that is how you took it» to which I said yes that is what I said. I am a director.of.operations at.a.customer.service company and her service was abysmal. She
regard for how she treated others and as a new person to. the area.I.don’t.think.I.can go.back.There that worker is in serious.need.of.customer.service training. Also. it’s.worth noting. She gave incorrect. change back to. both me.and the guy
so.not.sure.She
ringing.people up.either. we. both gave the money back. Anyway, I. had
the stunning lack of. service

I just attended one if the nicest wine tasting there tonight? Very accommodating. It is under ownership/​management since the owner Steve Duffy passed away October 23^rd. They are doing a terrific job.
