Number One Chinese Restaurant

This is the worst Chinese place it town! Save your money and order elsewhere. Do not settle for this place because it’s close and they hand their menu out everywhere. Not only is the food terrible, but it takes double the time to arrive. When you call to ask where your order is they claim inability to speak English and hang up! I know that this is just a Chinese take out restaurant, but good service is still expected. The service is truly unbelievably terrible.

I was there recently and watched the woman take raw ribs and chop them on a block before cooking. She then proceeded to take my cooked wings and place them on the same block that the raw pork ribs had been on. I had to stop her. Maybe I wouldn’t make a fuss if I hadn’t seen this happen in the past — over and over again. I can’t be bothered to keep stopping them from doing something so unsanitary all the time… What happens when I’m not there to watch??? As a food establishment shouldn’t they know not to mix cooked and uncooked food? To top it off the food was not good at all. I ended up throwing it away. This too is not the first time… a few years ago the food was GREAT, in the recent years it has gone downhill. Last time there. I’m done.

My family’s go to for chinese takeout.
Food is consistent with good portions and great flavor. Staff is very nice and appears to be family owned. Been going here for 10 plus years and never disappointed.

I am typing this as I eat a Dinner Special of Kung Pao Chicken /​Fried Rice /​Egg Roll.
Egg Roll — boring… not much flavor… typical crappy «Sysco’ish» pre-​prepared roll
Kung Pao — Good… vegetables are fresh and chicken isnt frozen… pretty solid.
Fried Rice — boring & lacking flavor
People are very nice and the kitchen is very clean though… solid points for that… I got there at closing so… i didnt expect their best game. Worth another try…

Had takeout on Monday. Told the lady small spare ribs and she gave me a large. Then she said they already made it. I told her I was not going to pay for something I did not order. She became upset. My son found «something» in his food. I would never go back to this dump !

My favorite place to eat Chinese in the area! I live here– so I have tried just about every restaurant there is here. No.1 has the best prices and food. The décor is clean, but it is your regular run of the mill take out spot with two tables. Most dishes are $ 4.95 for chicken or pork and $ 5.95 for beef or shrimp. They also have great combo platters which include an egg roll and soup for $ 7.95 and two choices of meat! It is always clean and the food is made to order– love it!
