Haldeman Ford – East Windsor

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. It was by far the easiest purchase of a vehicle I have ever had. The staff especially Howard Salmon were outstanding. Everyone placed their cards on the table and a deal was reached in a very short amount of time. The paperwork and delivery of the vehicle was done very promptly. I was on my way to a very nice place for lunch that came highly recommended by the sales associate, in no time. I would highly recommend this dealership!!!

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. It was a wonderful experience and hassle-​free. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and prompt in processing the paperwork. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had purchasing a car. I would recommend this dealership anyone.

I have had two Ford Fusions in the last 4 years. The car I had for 3 years spend close to month in the shop for various things like the AC, catalytic converter. Each time, they had my car for a week or even longer. My new car has 6500 miles on it and it just spend a week in the shop for a broken strut. I keep hearing about how great the new Fords are but that has not been the case for me. However this review is not about Ford Vehicles but the service I received (or lack thereof) from Haldeman Ford of East Windsor.
First off, they never call you to tell you what is going on, you need to call them and god forbid if the person assigned to you is out because someone will need to find out what is going on. I experienced multiple times when I was on hold for 10 to 15 minutes while they tracked things down. Then they tell you your call will be done by a given time and its not. On my most recent service, I was told that my car would be done maybe Friday evening but more likely Saturday. Saturday came and went without a call. When I called them Monday morning, they told me that they needed to get some info and call me back. Later they told me, I would have the car Monday evening or no later than Tuesday early afternoon. Tuesday came and went with no call. I called Wednesday and was on hold for 15 minutes and told that my car wouldn’t be ready till Thursday. I explained that I was going out of town and really needed the car Wednesday. They basically said tough. The car was ready Thursday but I did not get back into town until Friday to pick it up.
They didn’t seem to car that I was paying for a rental car the whole time as was the case in the past when I had similar experiences with prolonged repair time and promised delivery dates that came and went. One time, they game me a loaner but it was probably the filthiest car Ive driven in in the last 40 years. Ive used them because they are close but I need to use another facility for my current for and then avoid all Haldeman Auto Group dealerships for future purchases. Based on the other reviews, It looks safe to assume that customer and vehicle service is not their strong point.

Don’t call here if you break down.
Told them I had a breakdown on the turnpike, just needed a couple screws turned to take a broken piece off my car so I could get it home.
Staff was nice but nicely said to take a hike.
The auto repair place down the street had me on my way in 5 minutes

Our experience at Haldeman Ford in East Windsor was wonderful. We’ve purchased several cars over the years and never have had the level of service we received last week. Our salesman Jerry provided us with excellent customer service; he is the epitome of a professional, thorough, engaged in the entire process, excellent follow-​up skills, extremely knowledgable, warm and approachable personality, NOT pushy, and very funny! We will definitely go to Haldeman Ford for our next vehicle purchase! Highly Recommend!!! Working with sales management was also a wonderful experience. They worked with us through negotiations in a very professional manner and were quite flexible in order to meet our needs. #1 Dealership for sure!

Rude customer service even from the General Manager.
I called the dealer requestin info on a car… lady on the phone was rude.
Called again after being on hold for over 10 min the General Manager answerd the phone (he did not say he was the Manager)
After talking to him it was like he was playing games by telling me something and then calling me back again while I was driving to the dealership (have a hands free bluetooth by the way) I decided to ask for a manager.
Talked to same person this time he said he was the General Manager but I was not sure how a General Manager could not be able to handle a call right, second I was heading back home thinking I did not want to deal with him as a sales person. After telling me who he was I was sure I did not want to do business at all.
Reason why??? He did know how to talk over you. No customer skills. After telling him I wanted to talk to his boss all hell broke loose. After that point he even told me he did not wanted to sell me a car. Also told me that if I wanted I could talk to the owener J. R and that his name was such and such and he was not afraid.
Overall I DO NOT RECOMEND!!!

I have only dealt with a dealership twice before going through Haldeman Ford and I have to say that the experience was great! I was very impress with the level of professionalism but yet friendly service. They make sure I was very comfortable and wanted to make sure that all my concerns or questions were answered before I left the dealership. I worked with Shawn Hannon from sales and thanks to him I left with an experience that I will remember. Buying a car is not an easy process for some people but with the type of service I received while there I would recommend them to all new and old buyers. They will take care of you. Lets face the facts. Car buying is a hassle and generally nobody really likes doing it.
I was in the market for a new car for about two weeks. I pit alot of dealers against each other to find the best deal for myself, as everyone should. In dealing with about 10 various dealers of different makes, Haldeman Ford came out on top.
As far as prompt responding, they easily won. Not only did I recieve emails from the automatic machine immediately, but I also got emails from REAL people within 15 minutes everytime I had any questions.
When I finally walked in to finalize the deal, it was quick and painless. No hassle, and no pressure. I got just what I wanted and what I expected. Bryan and Stacey are great.
All the people writing negative reviews seem to have errors on their own end, or are just being downright unreasonable.
I would certainly recommend this dealer to anyone.

I purchased a new Crosstreck Subaru from Steve L. He and his assistant, Nick, were wonderful. They were not pushy like some salespeople can be. They were patient with my decision making and very helpful with the financial end of the purchase. In the end, they got me in the right car at the right price. Even Lynn, the finance manger was great. Again, not pushy and allowed me time to make a decision for the extras. Even the general manager came around to introduce himself, which was a really nice touch. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. Would recommend this dealership to anyone. Also, although there are several Subaru dealers closer to home, I drove an hour and a half on the recommendation of my husband who has purchased cars from this dealership. Worth the trip!

OK… so I purchased my Ford SUV there. Sales staff rocked! Took my car there 3x for service and every time I went I remembered why I don’t go there. Service sucked. On ⁵⁄₂₇ I had to go there because I had a puncture in one of the tires I purchased there. Plus the car needed servicing. I went in and spoke to Heather in service. Explained my 3 previous sucky experiences and told her I really do not want an encore. Well I couldn’t be happier. Heather kept me updated on repairs, etc. $ 1700 later I’m very very happy. So… go ask for Heather… she’s definitely A+

This place is really low brow and the sales guy called us the next day to hound us about buying a car. I do not plan on returning and would urge you to avoid this place.

Jun, my service manager went the extra mile to repair my van. I didn’t buy my van here, but I am very happy I service it here.

I can’t rate Haldeman Ford based on a vehicle purchase because in the end, I found the car that was a perfect fit for me elsewhere. However, I can say that the salesman I encountered, «Billy», defied every stereotype of a car salesman. He wasn’t pushy and he didn’t hound me. He was helpful, informative, and honest. Though he spent hours with me and let me test drive several cars, he was gracious when I ultimately bought a car elsewhere. To me, that shows character. He may not have scored a deal with me, but I hope that, due to this review, he can score a deal with you when you are looking for a new car.

Great dealership to deal with. Bought my F150 from Haldeman Ford and they were very helpful and not pushy. Had a few issues after I got it with the service dept, but after the service manager left (fired?) and the new one took over, WOW what a great change. Overall, I will continue to use them for my truck’s service and will buy from them in the future.

I have had really good experience with them till the moment I signed the contract and pulled away. The paper tag they provided was only good for 20 days. I live in MD and was told that they would submit my paperwork to MD MVA so I could get my MD tile and registration. 20 days later, I found out they were in the process of submitting everything. 24 days later, I finally received the NJ title in the mail and I was pissed when I saw that. It just means that they hadn’t done anything at all from the day I purchased the car since they just released/​transferred the title to me as I am the new owner. I must say that I was relieved when I received the refund check along with the NJ title in the mail but I certainly wouldn’t trust them in doing any of the legwork for me if I have to get another car from them.

I am a fan of Ford – their new cars are put together nicely. I was extremely disappointed with the dealership when I called to inquire about service. I was bounced around numerous times and still received no service. I had a simple request for service and couldn’t get a live person to assist me in scheduling an appointment.
Luckily I found a dealership that was able to assist me – they will get my business from now on.

I am a huge fan of Ford cars and trucks and have owned many fords over my life. I am happy to say that I have purchased 3 vehicles at Haldeman Ford of Hightstown. Rob Morris and JR Battreal are very polite and will take time to answer all of your questions. The finance manager Graham Kirby walked me though all of my paperwork and made sure that I understood what I was signing. I highly recommend this dealership.
