History

Established in 1969.

Telford’s Chapel of the Valley was founded in 1969 by Jim & Corinne Telford. Rick Phillips joined the staff at Telford’s as a licensed Funeral Director in 1989.

In 1995, Rick and Ann Phillips purchased the business from the Telford family. The funeral home continues to operate as a family owned business that serves families in the Wenatchee Valley and central Washington State.

Rick has over 25 years of experience in funeral service. He has helped families in the Wenatchee Valley and Central Washington, while working at Telford’s for the past 20 years. Currently, Rick is also on the Board of Directors of the Washington State Funeral Directors Association.
