Experience the thrill of snowtubing year-​round at Fernwood Resort with the opening of Blue Lightning all season tubing, the only all season tubing facility in the Pocono Mountains with a Magic Carpet lift and two 400 foot tubing lanes. Ride to the top, walk off and start tubing by sitting down on the tube and gliding down on the special runs that allow tubing without snow or water. Open Thursdays through Mondays, the park is located next to Wintergreens Patio Grill on the slope that transforms into Fernwood Resort’s White Lightning Snowtubing park in winter. History

Established in 2013.

Blue Lightning Tubing was opened in 2013 with a Magic Carpet lift and two chutes. Located on the slope that in winter becomes White Lightning Snowtubing, Blue Lightning is the only all season tubing park in the Pocono Mountains of PA. Meet the Manager

Scott M.

Manager

Scott is a graduate of East Stroudsburg High School and resident of East Stroudsburg, PA. He has been the Assistant General Manager at Alpine Mountain Ski Area, Assistant Golf Pro at Delaware Water Gap Country Club and Head Golf Professional at Evergreen Golf Course. In addition to his responsibilities as Blue Lightning Park Supervisor, Scott is also responsible for golf operations at Fernwood Golf Course. Scott is also attending Northampton Community College to complete a degree in Resort Management.
