They do a very good job. I get my mani & pedi here every two weeks for the past couple of years. The place is clean and they disinfect the tools. Regular pedi includes foot massage AND hot stone massage :)

They are pretty good price wise during the week. I enjoy the pedicure they use hot stones and it’s worth the money. The pedi and mani don’t last as long as I would like however I think they are the best I’ve tried this far so been back 4 times already.

Went for a pedicure on a Sunday — the staff were friendly and efficient moving people through the salon. There are 4 pedicure chairs and about 7 or 8 manicure chairs.
The lady who did my pedicure was very nice and checked that my leg massage was OK, water temp was good, etc. she was very attentive through her process.
The reason for my 2 star review is because the actual pedicure didn’t last the way home. The lady used too thick a coat each time so that it was never going to dry in a timely manner. I had to remove it once I got home because the plastic baggies smudged (very badly) 7 of 10 nails when I took them off at home. This was after sitting through 3 drying cycles and 2 ladies checking me and saying my nails were ok.

First time here, got a $ 9 dollar mani. They did a great job and in just the right amount of time.

I’ve gone to Honey nails a few times and they did an «OK» job, nothing stellar, but their prices were good. They never seem to have the same manicurists/​pedicurists but the two owners are always there. The male owner is always micro managing the new pedicurists and makes it an awkward experience. This past time I went really turned me off to them. My mom and I went in for mani/​pedi — she was getting regular for both and i was getting gel for my mani.
Our pedicures were so lazily done we both went home and fixed them ourselves. The file jobs were terrible as were the paint jobs and my cuticles/​clean up wasn’t done. A good pedicure lasts me 3 – 4 weeks. It’s five days later and I’m ready for a new one. My mom had her manicure done while she was in the pedi chair — they didnt soak her nails or do the cuticles. They pretty much filed and painted. And they didn’t even do that well. I got my gel mani done while the lady was on the phone and she threw my hands where she wanted them to go.
We aren’t going back with so many other options in the area.

This place is a hit and miss. I have had my nails done where they were half decent and then other times where they were all right (if my other place was closed, I’d go here for a quick manicure). I remember coming here they wouldn’t clean the tub while getting my manicures done, but today I saw a girl washing the tub. Overall, it’s a hit and miss at this place… just a place to go to if your regular place is closed for the day.

I have gone to honey nails on a bi-​weekly basis to get gel manicures and was always content with the job that they did. They grew more friendly with time and I was always pleased with my nails until yesterday when I had a customer service nightmare.
Yesterday, I went into the salon to get my gel nails taken off but didn’t have time for a manicure– (I was crunched for time. starting a new job the next day and they were looking really shabby after two weeks) I explained that I would be happy to pay a fee to have the gel removed and that I would be back for a manicure later when I had more time. Being that I patron the salon regularly and was ready to pay and tip for this service I thought this wouldn’t be a big deal. I WAS WRONG. Do not piss these ladies off! They turned from being sweet as honey to absolutely nasty very quickly. There was an EXPLOSION of angry yelling in another language and then they proceeded to take my gel nails off as SLOWLY as humanly possible to spite me. What usually takes 5 to 10 minutes at this salon took 30. I actually had to start taking it off myself with my own nails because they were ignoring me. $ 9 later I still have some gel on my nails.

This is my favorite Meadowland’s nail place. They are open 6 days a week and you do not need an appointment. You may need to wait but they are pretty accommodating. The owners and staff are reserved and less chatty than some other places but I find that refreshing. Once they get to know you they are friendlier.
The prices are reasonable and they do a nice job. I have been going here for a few years. I have tried other places but always land back at this one. They consistently do a good job and my UV gel pink and white nails look good for ²⁄₃ weeks. I get lots of compliments and I am very hard on my nails and they hold up. Also do a nice job with eyebrows.

This place is not bad, but its not that good either. My first experience was good, the second mediocre, and the last sub-​par… I left with my cuticles a complete mess and a poor polish job. a couple staff members aren’t friendly. And they charge $ 1 for a quick dry top coat that you can buy a bottle of for $ 5 (sally henson brand). Its $ 2 if you get an Mani/​pedi. I’ll be trying somewhere else in the future… there is an over abundance of nail salons in this immediate area so I expect a reasonable quality of service.

Just went there today for the first time. They were open on a Sunday and helped me find them since I hadn’t been there before. The owner actually got on the phone and gave me directions– plus there for courtesy.
It’s a smaller salon and I was there for a manicure pedicure. I got my pedicure first and I really enjoyed it. I think the attention given to my actual toenails could have been a little better (i, e. cuticle cutting and nail shaping) but the pedicure itself was very relaxing. Nice long leg massage, lotion all the way up the leg, warm towel spread over my legs and foot exfoliation. Really very relaxing and not at all rushed.
When I had my manicure done the owner (male) did all the prep work and then the female owner came and painted them. Everyone was leaving I was one of two guests left. These are the cons I have about this place.
1) They have a back alley door right next to the pedicure chairs and I think there was some rotten garbage out in the alley because from the chair I could smell something that was akin to cabbage. Bad Cabbage.
2) I saw one of the girls pick up a towel from I don’t know where and put it in the uv thingy-​not folded up or anything just like loose and then the owner turned around and used that towel as the warm towel over my nails. That really skeeved me out-​I know the UV thing is like a germ killer but I like it when those towels are folded and fresh and actually have been in there for more than two minutes. I don’t know even know what they used that towel for and I didn’t even realize it was the same towel at first until I looked over saw the empty UV box and realized what happened.
However, they did do a fabulous job on my nails and my toes-​they look really good. The owner (female) helped me get my coat on and told me to come back for loyalty program she’d take $ 2 off my next service because I was a new customer. In a pinch I’d definitely go here again because it was friendly staff and good service.
$ 23 for a manicure and pedicure on a sunday and open until 6pm.
Plus my nails really look awesome!

I work around this area but live in the city. I decided to give this spot a try since some co-​workers are regulars. They did a decent enough job, but I will not be returning. Clean place, the polish colors are not spread out well and difficult to see, but they do have a decent selection. I was getting just a regular manicure. They do not soak your nails before cutting the cuticles, and they did a poor job with that. I had to cut my own when I was finished, which I am not thrilled about. The polish job looks good from far away, but the sides of every single nail is not painted. Also, I got the fast drying polish as an addition, and half of my nails have bubbles in them. Decent price– $ 9 for a manicure. Have to have cash to tip!

I’m new to the area, so I decided to give this salon a shot. They have great prices (mani/​pedi specials $ 21) and the staff is very nice. I wish the pedicure included more of a massage, but you can pay to upgrade your pedicure and there are a lot of different upgrade options.
The salon seems clean overall, however, while I was getting my nails done, I noticed that they reused the pedicure station for a new client without cleaning it after the previous client…

Great local nail spot. Good prices, friendly manicurists, and it’s clean. They have a loyalty program that’s $ 5 to join, and you collect points with each service which you can redeem for future services. I don’t have the loyalty card, but I’ve been loyal to them for a while nonetheless. My manicure lasts two weeks without chipping, and I never feel rushed when I’m there. They have a wall-​to-​wall list of services, and they’re good at what they do

Surrounded by nail salons that believe in gauging their customers with inflated prices, P&Y Honey Nails stands out. Their prices are reasonable. Their personalities are hidden. They get to know you and then they open up. Its a cute salon and they decorated it adorably.
Kathy does my nails religiously every two weeks — maintenance reasons ;) She does a great job.
I also get my pedicure every two weeks as well, because I work hard for my money and deserve to be pampered. However, their pedicures are just okay. I always feel jipped when it comes to the massage portion, like they go to quick. Maybe I just want them to go on forever. Oh well, it gives me something to look forward to for the next two weeks, I guess. ;)
