Johnny’s Subs & More

Johnny’s Subs & More was absolutely one of the greatest sandwich/​sub shops I have ever visited. Having recently opened in this location, a friend and I figured we would check it out on our way through the area. Plus.. . we had a coupon, and you can’t go wrong there. Located very close to an on ramp to 195, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat on your way to the much more expensive city of Providence. Food is great!
Pretty much abandoned at lunch time. Parked the car and walked in. Place was empty. Lights weren’t even on to light up the menu above head. The only employee turned the lights on for us and was prompt with service. Was very accommodating with specializing our sandwiches. I, being a simple person when it comes to food, enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich with french fries and a grape soda. Yum! Perfect amount of cheese for the bread it was placed in.
Sat at one of the handful of tall tables by a front window to wait for our food. Instead of calling us over to the pick up station, the employee brought the food out to the table as if it were a waitressed restaurant. Very thoughtful! Extra points :) Supplied us with condiments and restocked our empty napkin dispenser.
Left her a tip on the counter on our way out while she was cleaning the grill in the back room. Our coupon was a Buy One Item, Get One Free, kinda thing. Dunno if it was a mistake or not but she had us pay for the cheaper item rather than the more expensive one! Food tasted amazing, made with care. Will definitely be returning here!
