Very happy with my order. It arrived super fast, was hot, and the driver was laid back and chill. This place was recommended to me by a coworker and it did not disappoint. The wings were exactly what I’ve been looking for in these here parts! Not too saucy, or soggy. Full of flavor. We got BBQ, Sweet Chilli, and Garlic Parm(a rub). They were damn delicious! Would recommend!

My first experience with this restaurant was via take out thru Grubhub. I ordered the boneless bbq wings, fries and soda. Everything was delivered within an hour, warm but not hot, and tasty. For the price and availability to have this delivered I was pleased and would recommend. No complaints.

Food is pretty solid here, delivery is usually quick and the prices are reasonable. I’ve had better wings and better sauces elsewhere, but I do like the food here. Chicken sandwich with fries is a really good deal and their delivery charge is awesome, a lot of these delivery joints in EL think 3 to 4 bucks is acceptable, so Wings over EL’s 75 cent charge is ill.

Not bad for a BDubbs little brother. I like the theme of airplanes. If you do happen to order from here keep in mind the high prices and long delivery time. That long delivery time makes it almost never beneficial to order delivery from here. It always comes cold and soggy. However it is quite good if if you order in house.

I was up in Michigan a few months ago and got wings to go from here. Normally, I don’t love my wings breaded, but these were some of the better breaded wings I can remember having. I had both the hots and the spicy garlics. I liked both, but the garlic ones were especially tasty. The wings themselves are meaty and crispy. The blue cheese is good. Service was typical of a college town. It’s a little hole in the wall, but it is definitely a tasty option if you are looking for food in the area.

I would probably not order from them again, maybe if nothing else was available or I felt like punishing myself after a night out at the bars. The waffle fries might have been good if they were hot and crispy, I only got to try the the cold and chewy version. The cease salad was good, lettuce was fresh and dressing was tasty. For the wings — they were pretty good sized and warm, but not hot. The spicy dry rub was good, but wish they were available not breaded. On a less important note. The delivery driver was not given or did not follow directions on which door to go to when arriving, not a big deal but worth noting. Overall not a great experience and there are much better options for delivery in the area.

The wings are great, probably some of the best I’ve ever had and there are plenty of different sauces and dry rubs to try. They don’t tell you that it’s lightly breaded though, so if you have an issue with that you need to tell them to do it without the breading. The service is also kind of terrible, but I don’t really expect much from a place in a college town. I was also quoted with a wait time of about 10 – 15 minutes on a Thursday night at 9PM, but finally got my order at 9:30PM, and it was just sitting there in the window while the two ladies who worked there stood around talking to each other…

The wings are more like tenders. My friends didnt really like them but I thought they were pretty good. I was also starving. Nevertheless, it was good for me.

The wings and BBQ sauce here were good, sweet and tangy. The Cajun waffle fries were also pretty good but although there is only one option on the menu for waffle fries size we somehow managed to get a «small»($ 1 less than the menu price) with half the amount of fries while our friends ordered the same thing and got the size posted on the menu. Very disappointing. The place is very much geared towards ordering to go or delivering to your house, not much else to look at. Overall the food was pretty good for about what you’d pay to eat ad Bdubs so I would give it a shot if you’re looking to try out a different wing place.

I’ve only eaten here a few times, but I’m definitely a fan. The bone-in wings are waaay better than boneless. If you order one of their packages(by weight), keep in mind that they are boneless. I didn’t really like them. Anyway, their wings are very meaty unlike some places you go to where they have too much fat on their wings. I don’t like my wings too saucy, so I get the wings plain with the sauce on the side. It keeps the wings from getting soggy too. I can’t remember all the diff flavors I’ve tried, but my default is hot garlic. You also get to take your pick of ranch or blue/bleu cheese. The guy at the counter with the snakebites is really polite and friendly too. The only reason I didn’t give Wings Over 5 stars is because the wait time is horrendous. Picking up takes as long as if you were to have it delivered. The last time I went, I was the only person there. 10 wings still took about 30 minutes or so… Not to mention I was being eaten alive by the swarm of mosquitoes hanging out inside with me. I think delivery is free, but don’t be shady. Tip your driver.

Inconsistent! The First time I order wings from here was the Super Bowl. They would only let me pick them up 5 hours prior to the game, no biggy. The wings were actually pretty good, tasty sauce and crispy wings. After a good experience with the food I went back a month later. I don’t know if because it was a high volume weekend for the superbowl or what, but the wings were notably different. Soggy limp and undercooked. I haven’t been back for a third round… Don’t know if I will go back. When I went this time I noted the actual shop was pretty dirty and the staff wasn’t to friendly. It’s to bad MSU needs a good wings place! Food 3⁄5 Atmosphere 2⁄5 Price 3⁄5

For tl;dr people: I got terrible food and they refused to exchange or refund it. Wings Over revoked all responsibility for the quality of their food when it arrived at my door. I’ve been a loyal customer for 2 years at Wings Over, but after today’s experience, I refuse to buy anything from them in the future. I only order 3 things from the menu: traditional wings, ribs, and fries; and I always have them deliver it. Everything is usually up to par, and the small things don’t really bothers me. There have been instances of overcooked wings(which results in a sandy-like texture of the meat) or semi-soggy fries(probably from being in the box too long), but I was okay with it. I’ll give them a solid 4 stars before today because everything usually tasted pretty good and the sauces, especially Sweet Chili and Golden BBQ, were amazing. Delivery times usually vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours. On average, it’s around 60 – 90 minutes. I live about a 3-minute drive away from the place. This is kind of off-putting, especially when you’re hungry, but the delivery guy’s always nice. Because I always only order wings, ribs and fries, I know how they usually taste. Tonight, I ordered a full rack of ribs with golden BBQ sauce. After an hour’s wait, I got the ribs. They tasted terrible. The meat was somehow overcooked to the point of chewiness and the slab itself was too thick for any flavor — it also tasted old, like it sat in the freezer for too long. It was literally a couple pounds of weird-tasting, thick, chewy meat with a gloss of BBQ sauce. It was nothing like what it was the previous 30+ times I ordered it. Okay, no problem. I’ll just talk to a customer representative on GrubHub to sort this out. During the half-hour conversation, Brandon called the restaurant and asked whether or not they could replace the ribs, give store credit, or issue a refund. Wings Over replied that they were sure that«a full rack was sent out with the usual sauce» and that«they were unwilling to refund any of the order». Brandon then told me, «I’d hate to say it but it doesn’t seem like they are going to be coming out for those or refunding them.»(The quotes are taken directly from the customer representative I was talking to). I was furious. If Wings Over dealt with my order with even an apology, I would have thought about resolving the differences. Wings Over revoked all responsibility for the quality of their food when it arrived at my door. Brandon from GrubHub was nice enough and issued me $ 15 for the $ 23.59 order. I did not expect this and was very thankful. However, I do not think that GrubHub should be taking responsibility for a mistake Wings Over made. I ended up throwing away the entire rack of ribs. I’m never ordering from them again and neither are friends who were with me.

Ordering online was a breeze, and delivery was quick – 15 minutes earlier than the given time. The wings are huge – definitely a good value, especially on a student budget. They tasted fresh, and the sauce descriptions were spot on(the«Cruisin Altitude» buffalo sauce had just enough kick to tingle the taste buds, and the Honey Bar-B-Que was nice and sweet). I like my wings super crispy, and these wings were not. I can’t explain it… they weren’t soggy necessarily, they just weren’t crispy. I think I’ve been spoiled by the Korean-style wings at Seoul Street over in Ann Arbor. However, I’m not going to drive an hour to get some wings. So I can make do with Wings Over East Lansing to satisfy the occasional wing craving.

Okay, it wasn’t amazing but it did satisfy my 2am state of hanger. Yes, hanger. A hybrid of anger that stems from hunger. The waffle fries were probably better fresh. When they got to me they were warm and chewy, not crispy and hot. The flavor however, was good. I got the garlic Parmesan. So the important part: the wings. They were… average wings. The wimpy sauce was really good, with a little kick of spice. The breaded part unfortunately was a bit soggy when I would have preferred it crispier. The chicken was good quality. And it was hot temperature wise. I had my good delivered and it was a short wait! Like 17 minutes when they told me 30 – 35. So I was impressed!

I would have opted for a higher rating if my husband’s and my own stomach didn’t sound like a water cool for a full day after eating here. We’re use to spicy foods and usually have a high tolerance level, but these wings tore us up for some reason! Do not eat WOEL before a big meeting or at the beginning of an intimate evening with your significant other. On a less bathroom-related note, the quality of the chicken was tasty and the portions were huge. The menu was a bit confusing to me as the wings are served by the pound rather than by piece, so I had no idea how much to order, but the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our food was ready super fast, and both of our sauces(hot BBQ and spicy teriyaki) were extremely flavorful. We were both disappointed though with our order of Cajun waffle fries — they came out nearly room temperature and didn’t taste very fresh/potatoey. Finally, the aren’t open for lunch except on weekends, and I probably would be more inclined to eat here if they were. They definitely cater to MSU kids as their primary clientele so I know staying open to 4AM w delivery is a strategic choice for business, but I’d like to see some lunch specials.

Guy behind the counter was nice enough. The buffalo sauce wasn’t all that great but it wasn’t the worst. Their«wimpy» buffalo sauce has a real nice kick to it. The grilled chicken wrap was absolutely horrible, by far the worst i have ever had. not too mention it did not come as ordered. Their«boneless wings» are better described as chicken fingers. The honey bbq was great. The ranch one was more bland than i expected but dipped in the ranch they give you its good. too bad THEREWAS A FREAKINGBONEINIT. Lastly, the fries were some of the worst i have ever had. My gf says thats how it always is. Give it a try if you must but be warned. Maybe i have just had actual good wings here in chicago or maybe they just suck, but feel free to create your own judgement
