I’m biased. My friend owns this store. BUT!
If you need obscure underground hip-​hop, this is the place to go. Code of tha Cutz is a small indie shop that carries mostly underground/​old-​school schtuff, but you can find some gems of other genres as well, including some random old rock and country records. Wanna learn how to DJ? Call the store for classes. Want to show off your skills or learn some new scratch techniques? Bring yer butt and yer rekkids down to Scratch Club on Friday nights.
If COTC doesn’t have what you need in stock, orders are a snap and there’s no extra charge. Also, you can catch some cool hip-​hop acts at instores including DJ Qbert, Blueprint, and Glue, among others. Overall it’s homebase for local hip-​hop DJs. If you haven’t dropped in, make sure you do.
