The Gorman Group provides expert real estate appraisals for commercial, industrial, and special use properties. We specialize in unique and unusual properties with a portfolio that reflects a remarkable degree of diversity as well as difficulty. No job is too difficult or too «oddball» for us — in fact, the more unusual the property, the better!

Some of our appraisers specialize in niche areas like mineral or partial interest appraisals. Others have a unique geographic focus, such as the Florida Keys.

While our primary service is one of real estate valuation, we offer a complete menu of appraisal-​related services including litigation support, consulting, cost analysis and many more.

Meet the Business Owner

Robert G.

Business Owner

Robert Gorman, MAI is a seasoned appraiser who is actively involved in the appraisal industry. A member of the Appraisal Foundation, he has served on the State Regulatory Advisory Board. Robert served two terms as Chair of the State of Illinois Real Estate Appraiser Licensing Board. He is a member of the Appraisal Institute, for which he has held positions including Legislative Committee Chairman, Local Chapter Director, Government Relations, and the Legislative Task Force. Bob is also a founding member of the Illinois Association of Real Estate Educators and taught appraisal classes.

In addition to his Illinois Certified General Appraiser license, Bob is a Registered Real Estate Broker in both Illinois and Indiana. He also is a licensed appraiser in Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan and Florida.

In addition to his professional involvements and affiliations, Bob keeps on top of real estate industry trends and developments. He and his staff provide clients with unbiased, in-​depth appraisals.
