Best nail salon I have been to in NJ/​NY!
This place is wonderful! The staff is so nice and really takes pride in their work. They take their time making sure you have the best nails ever and are willing to change anything if you don’t like it.
Tina did my nails last time and she did a terrific job. I had destroyed my nails after a stressful week at work and she took extra time working on the cuticles and cleaning the edges to make sure they looked good. On top of that she is the sweetest and most kind lady ever! I truly can not wait to go back to LV nails. Its a clean and welcoming facility that makes you want to make it your go to nail stop!
Note that the prices may be a little higher then elsewhere but you are really paying for quality!

My last visit here was yesterday, on 5÷23÷16. Maria, is THE BEST. I freaking love her. She is a doll: super polite, accommodating, patient, sweet as pie.
As far as costs are concerned, $ 30 for a regular mani pedi isn’t a bad deal although lots of competitors in the area offer that for $ 25, BUT (and this is a big butt — pun intended) they definitely don’t last as long.
This is slightly unfair because all of my pedicures are usually able to last through a zombie apocalypse (these still take the cake), however my manicures, not so much.
I lift. A lot. And heavy. I hate using gloves. So usually just stepping into the gym my nails begin chipping. Not with Maria though!
I would give HER service a 5, if maybe there were a little more corn/​callous focus (hush children I am a dancer and competitive body builder cut me a breakkk) and if when busy she didn’t just do a good efficient job on pedia but took her entire timeee. I get it though, turn over time right?
As far as rhe location, on rt. 10, pretty easily accessible because the sign is so big and visible, but limited parking. Clean establishment, but 3 stars only based on the non luxurious aspect. Again, 4 – 5 with MARIA (and others I am sure) due to well done, well groomed, long lasting mani pedis. Cannot speak on any othee service.

, the owner is extremely rude and unprofessional I just got my nails done there for the third time being that I was considering giving it another chance although the last set of nails that a woman by the name of Kathy did all broke within a week’s time I work in the area so I said let me just give it another try the owner did not even say thank you he made me feel extremely uncomfortable and I will never return

This is the FRIST TIME EVER my nail was done the way I wanted then. Reasonable price, friendly staff and fast service. I went on my lunch break and was able to get a gel wrap on my nails a still grab lunch. They wasn’t rushing either. Lynn 1 did a great job on my nails. I was debating on writing this review because I can understand why this place has 4.5 stars. Most of their clients are returning customers that get the 5 star treatment.
Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t so great.
I went in looking to get a very simple ombré look and when I showed the nail tech a picture she told me it was something she could do. Long story short, the final product looked nothing like the picture and I asked to have it removed. Naturally, she was pissed and gave me a nasty glance and proceeded to talk about me with her coworker, I apologized over and over again because I do understand she put time into doing it. She apologized as well and told me I should go to the other nail tech because he specializes in it. I’m not sure why she wasted not only my but her time as well and didn’t tell me that from the beginning?
She clearly felt inconvenienced because the sides of my nails still have the original nail polish on them.

So happy i found this place! Great customer service! This was my first time getting acrylics and Tam did a great job! Maria also did my pedicure, manicure and some waxing. Shes amazing. I had a nice experience, the place is super clean!

My go-​to nail salon in New Jersey and I live in Maryland. Ask for Maria; she gives the BEST massages and also very skilled and friendly. Prices are also very fair. Highly recommended.

First time coming here since my move back to the area. I used Unilocal to find the spot. I called 30 min prior to coming in to ensure a spot for a mani and pedi ($ 25 Mon, Tue, Wed). My technician was fast, friendly, and neat. I’m currently 9 months pregnant and she took the time to check if I was comfortable throughout my appointment — asked if I needed a pillow, needed help putting my shoes back on. Too sweet! She did miss some nail polish lingering on my toes but I fixed it when I got home. Not a big deal and I’ll just be more careful to double check before I leave next time.

One of my really good girlfriends goes here every 3 weeks and she always has the best looking nails. So after knowing her for almost a year (yea that’s how lazy I am about my nails) I’ve decided to give this place a try!
I’ve gone to 5 or 6 nail salons around this area sporadically but never stuck with anyone. Either because they’re way over-​priced (like most places in Morristown) or their job is just mediocre. This place is a pleasant surprise!
I made my appointment on the same day, well more like 2 hours before I wanted to show up… and there was no problem. My pedicurist Irina was very nice and she took her time with the wash, cuticles, shaping, massage (includes hot stone) and coloring. I didn’t feel that I was rushed.
The owner Tam was very courteous, and funny! I was kinda surprised he turned out to be my manicurist to be honest. I guess I was being a sexist? (Shame Weiying shame!) Maybe it’s my lack of experience with nail salons as I never had a guy paint my nails? Well I can tell you that he has some serious skills! I showed him a Christmas design I found online and he was very helpful matching the right color. Since my nails weren’t long, it could be challenging to do the details. But he managed to draw a mini snowman on my thumb perfectly, and a beautiful snowflake on the other one. The silver chrome background color he recommended also ended up looking amazing! I’m really glad with how everything turns out and will certainly come here again!

I’m super hard on my nails so I really needed to get a gel mani that would actually last. My gel manicure was great and ended up being exactly what I wanted. Tina was super sweet and did a really great job! They lasted over three weeks, which was perfect for the wedding that weekend.
However, I’m taking away a few stars for the following reasons:
— I made an appointment and the owner asked me to come in a half hour earlier. That’s fine, but when I did, I waited approximately 20 minutes before we were actually addressed by any of the manicurists.
— My mother got a basic mani/​pedi from Maria but was rushed through because Maria had to catch a bus. Okay, that’s fine. It’s the day before Thanksgiving and you should be spending time with your family. But after she rushed my mom through, she sat down with two other ladies to do their nails, was conversing, and taking her time. After she finished my mother, she had plenty of time to catch her bus but chose to stay and serve these women. Keep your word, Maria.
— In Maria’s rush to catch her phantom bus, she gave my mother a small abrasion on her finger. I brought her here to relax, not to get injured.
I’m super disappointed with the service my mother got, and will not be taking her back here.

I’m going to preface this and say that it’s more like a 2.5. And I’m going to start from the beginning (so bear with the length).
A few days before coming here — I had actually called the salon to confirm that they’d be able to actually do my nails the way I wanted. He asked me to text him photos of the nail design and confirmed that they could do the nails. Yay! Nail art in NJ. awesome!
When I got there I showed him the photo of the nails I had sent earlier and he asked why I was doing an ‘old style’…and I figured, he, being in the business he’s in, would know the latest and greatest in nail art designs. So I asked him to show me what was ‘new’ and he proceeded to show me ombré’d glitter nails. I’ve been getting nail art done for the last 3 years — and that ombré/​glitter look was old 2 years ago… which is what I told him. His response: «Really?» Umm. yea…really. I couldn’t help but feel like he was berating my design and trying to sell me on a design that was ‘easier’ because he wasn’t sure he could deliver on the nail design I actually wanted.
Unfortunately this concern was confirmed as soon as he started doing my nails. The design I wanted required foil, holograms, tape, studs and stones. When I had texted the design and received an affirmative response that they’d be able to replicate my design, I assumed that they had the tools necessary to accomplish the look. As we began to get to the design I was told he didn’t have the studs, holograms or the foil. My response to this: «Why did you say you could do my nails if you don’t even have the tools.» His response: «Well, I could try…» Um​.no. These are my nails. This is my design. And I’m not your guinea pig.
Now let’s get to actually doing my nails. Instead of evaluating the design and figuring out the game plan and how he’d go about it, he asked me what needed to happen next. Not from a design perspective… but like actually step by step. And with each step he sighed so heavily like he was annoyed that I was asking him to do what he said he could do. At one point he mentioned to me that this area is not really great for nail art (I agree)…and that the salons in Jersey City are better with serving that ‘clientele’. I’m not a whistle blower — but there was just a tad bit of stereotyping in that sentence and it left me with an even bitter taste in my mouth.
All in all, I will say — the super edited, dumbed down version of my final nail product wasn’t terrible. I won’t be going back to get nail art done because obviously they don’t really know how to do intricate, trendy nail art… but I don’t think I’d want to visit this salon again because of the attitude and annoyance projected.

LV nails gets 5 stars! I just moved to north Jersey, and tried numerous nail salons around the area. I was not satisfied until I went to LV nails. I made an appointment about 1hr before showing up, and they were right on time. I was offered coffee and cold bottled water. The staff made me feel like family from the moment I walked into the door. Everyone had smiles on their faces. They were very polite and kind. Tina did my nails, I got an acrylic full set with gel polish on top. She took her time and shaped them exactly how I wanted. The full set was the cheapest of any place I tried so far ($ 27). The gel color was an additional $ 10. This will be my regular spot from now on!

Recently moved to Jersey and had to find a replacement nail salon asap! My toes were due for a little TLC. There were many places near me that had mediocre Unilocal ratings and I just didn’t want to take that risk. I stumbled upon LV Nails and Spa’s Unilocal page and decided that even though it was a far drive it would be worth it, and IT WAS WORTH IT!
I regret not asking what my nail tech’s name was but she was amazing. She took her time and was very meticulous with painting my toes.

Cost: ⁴⁄₅ (kind of steep for a pedicure ($ 23) from where I’m from)

This place is amazing! I am from Rhode Island and I relied on Unilocal reviews to find a nail salon while I’m here in Jersey. They did not disappoint! My gel manicure came out amazing and the pedicure was great. I was especially surprised by how reasonably priced it is. $ 23 for a pedi is awesome compared to the $ 40 we pay in RI! And they stayed late for me so I could get my pedicure before I left training! What an awesome place — I can’t wait to be back in Jersey so I can come back to get my nails done! Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

My friends, Mark and Doreen, told me about this nail salon. I have gotten two pedicures this last month and loved them. Alex and Maria do a great job. Give them a try!!! You will leave there with an awesome pedicure :)

I came in here with my own ideas, and my own gold thread. They totally accommodated me and just got to work. Thorough job, clean, with attention to detail. This includes working on a hand with a broken wrist. $ 30.
