The chef was very friendly. Had a Ruben, pastrami with kraut and swiss and a smear of mustard on rye and a side of fries. The pastrami was a bit hard and the fries, shoestring type were under cooked. They do seem to have a steady stream of local customers without appearing to busy. I would try it again, but be very specific — brown my fries please! Oh and they are cash only, no seating indoors or out. Corner lot, not difficult to find parking on the street.

We needed a place we could walk to from the courtyard Marriott hotel. Only took us 10 min. There were 8 of us. We all thought it was very tasty. Especially the pastrami sand. And the panini sand. I had a salad with chicken. Perfect. No place to sit. Just a small counter to stand at and eat. Glad we found this gem.

Great place with excellent food. Love the pastrami and the corn beef. Both come out hot and fresh. The spinach pie and rice pudding are also grest options. They have a great selection of snacks, chips, and drinks. The breakfast menu I’d also filled with great and delicious selections. If you’re near Astoria Blvd this is a must try place.
