Horrible, horrible, horrible! Waited 2 ½ months for them to fix my dishwasher. I finally went with a different company. They are nasty on the phone when you inquire on the status of your repair. They never call you back… I finally gave up! Do not use this company!

!!NEGATIVE STARS… What an absolute disgrace of a company. Save yourself a lot of time and aggravation and refuse to deal with these unprofessional and undependable clowns. I have an extended warranty on my Frigidaire washer which was assigned to «undependable» Appliance Service. I called on Monday and they arranged for service on Thursday between 8:00AM — 12:00PM. On Wed they called to say that they are cancelling all Thu calls, due to weather forecast, but, they will call Friday morning with the approximate time service person will arrive. Friday comes and goes with no call from from «dependable». I called Frigidaire who called «undependable» who said they called, in the morning, but, no one answered even though I was home all day. We rescheduled for Monday (gave them 2 phone numbers home & cell). On Mon I called at 08:30AM and they they called back at 08:45AM to say that they will be here between 03:00 — 08:00PM. 08:30PM no call, and no answer at office, «If this is regarding a service call leave a msg and we’ll get back to you tomorrow». Absolutely ridiculous! I can only hope that you find a doctor, lawyer, babysitter and a mechanic that are all as undependable as you are, when you really need them the most!

My refrigerator needed to be repaired and was covered under my extra warranty. Dependable was assigned to me by the warranty company. I was nervous because I had read the reviews here. However, I was very happy with the service, and especially with the great technician, Johnny. They gave me a timeframe in which to expect him to show up. Johnny called to tell me he’d arrive within a half hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. In order to do the repairs, the fridge needed to be turned off for 24 hours to thaw, so Johnny made another appointment with me for the following week. Again, he called in advance and arrived on time. He brought materials to cover my floor because I was concerned about the tiles being scraped when the fridge was pulled out. He did a great job.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the timeframe scheduled is such a long window, and it’s not given to you until the morning of your appointment. So basically, you need to block out the entire day when you schedule repairs. I think this is too long to expect. On the morning of the repairs, I was told that I would have someone here between 10 – 3, still a very long window. Luckily Johnny called by 10:30 and arrived before 11.

I have NEVER written a review about a business, nor have I felt compelled to. I wish I would have read these reviews first. I agree that one star is generous but i had no other option.
Let me first start by giving the repairman credit as he also had to deal with this nonsense. Omar was awesome (I guess I’ll give that star to him).
So I first had them come look at my dryer knowing that it was just a belt that needed to be replaced. So for that I was charged $ 75 as a deposit check was cashed that day.
I was rescheduled two times both times I found out because I called them to see what kind of window I was looking at. Which happened to be 6 hours.
I rarely get angry but I am pissed especially when you call yourself «dependable» beyond laughable.
So I spoke to a woman named Suzie who on three occasions was supposed to return my phone call instead I called her back hours later when I was told I would hear from her in 10 minutes.
Needless to say, I called this morning because I guess that’s how they operate must be easier on them not work. So they told me they would call me back again I waited. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional business. Omar, who as I previously stated is wonderful came finally after a couple weeks and he was provided a washer when I made it clear several times that it was a BELT and I am NOT a handyman. So now I’m out $ 75 which by the way I canceled the check another thing I have never done in my life. The total was going to be $ 187 for 10 minutes and a $ 6 part .
I have no idea how this company is still in business but I’m guessing it won’t be for much longer. I’m truly contemplating contacting the Better Business Bureau. That’s how «dependable» they are.
I truly suggest that nobody ever use this company.
Customer service sucks, and as far as I’m concerned how do you mistake a washer for a belt. Especially when they knew I was already irritated by rhe fact that I had to call to find out they had to reschedule.
Then they have the nerve to call me back and try to explain. The only explanation is that they’re beyond incompetent…

I also wish I could give them 0 stars. They never showed up within the 5 hour time window. They were provided with 2 phone numbers, both mine and my husbands and were told to use my #, because i was off of work and would be the one waiting. they called him once, not me. he called them back 20 minutes later (he was in a meeting), and they stated that nobody would be showing up at our house. Unhappy customers seem to be the status quo, one of the ladies from the service department, «Suzie», laughed when I let her know I would give them a negative review on Unilocal.Checking the Unilocal site and seeing that every other reviewer gave them 0 – 1 stars this makes sense. Clearly they don’t care about whether or not they provide good service to their customers.

I wish I could give them 0 stars, I really do. PC Richards used them to try to fix my fridge. They gave me a 5 hour window yesterday. After 6 hours of waiting, I called them — the technician apparently could not find parking near my home in Brooklyn, NY, so he left and didn’t bother to call me. And there is a PC Richards across the street from me where he could have parked!
They sent him out again today. He almost left again because he couldn’t find parking and couldn’t find the PC Richards parking lot, though he found the store — the parking lot is at the front of the store and is hard to miss (and no one else seems to have this problem).
He then came to my home for about 5 minutes (I wasn’t home, but had asked someone to wait for him), apparently didn’t fix anything (though he was supposed to bring the part that had been ordered to fix my fridge) and left. I am waiting for a response from them now. I think he probably forgot the part.
I have had a lot of appliances serviced, and this is possibly the worst service I have ever received.
