Best Western East Brunswick Inn

The photos on booking websites are either very outdated or from a different location. This place was filthy! Holes in the walls, leaking faucets, broken locks, closets, and honestly it even looked like dried up blood on the shower curtain. If I didn’t need a place to stay the night I would have turned around and left. Even the staff were rude, watching Botched on the main TV in the lobby. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Refused to accept coupon from hotel guide obtained at NJ TPK rest stop. Claimed coupon not valid on weekend, though nothing on coupon or in lobby said anything about this limit.

Place is dirty, unkept and the service is horrendous. I stayed here for 2 nights and regretted every minute of it. The showers were gross, beds were uncomfortable and the water pressure was horrible. The hotel didn’t tell me that there was going to be construction going on so I was woken up at 8:00am to the sound of hammering, beeping and more. Dead bugs found and towels were stained. The employees were rude and unaccommodating. Never coming again.

No coffee, breakfast ends at 9? Hole in bathroom ceiling. usually they are decent hotels but this one is terrible, dirty and antiqued fixtures. Hotel clerk lacking a human personally. One star is much higher than deserved.

I pulled up really late at night and the parking lot is littered with drunk French tourists and assorted intoxicated teenagers all in for some sort of sack race. Somehow, I’m not making that up.
The place looked dangerous and low rent, but after the police cleaned that up (no, Sting wasn’t there) and I entered my room, it was cleaner than I expected. I didn’t see any of Sean and James’ curly cues so I imagine the staff was advised to stop trimming their pubes in the rooms. That’s probably why it costs $ 150 to stay here… they’re cleaning pubes.
Nice touches include no control over the AC, hangers that are welded to the closet, a buffet breakfast you won’t eat due to the glorious I-​Hop in the parking lot, and a quick check out that gets you flooring the gas petal and out of NJ as fast as possible.
Let’s hear it… USA! USA! USA!

We had a reservation but needed to cancel so called and spoke with a woman who said we were cancelled, and when we asked if that was all she said «that’s it, you’re set». We were on the road and tired and did not push her for more. Actually, she did not cancel our reservation and since there was no cancel code in their system they charged us for a no show. When I called to talk to the manager she never called back. Actually, we have had this issue with Best Western hotels before, so perhaps we are just suckers to keep staying at these hotels. In any event, that will stop and the reader should be forewarned that as «owner operated franchises» you are taking a chance that the owners are honest and will treat you right.

I am just overwhelmed that the service and enthusiasm of the staff at this hotel never changes… I’ve been here quite a few times and haven’t been disappointed… Congrats to the staff here.

I am disgusted by the curly hairs all over the bathroom floor when I checked in with my daughter for her soccer tournament. Needless to say that I will never stay here again. Would have left and stayed 30 miles away to avoid this place.

Not one of the better Best Westerns. Lots of maintenance issues. However, I did get a good nights sleep. Tissues were like sand paper, use TP instead.

If you find yourself in East Brunswick I wish you luck in finding decent accommodations. This hotel is DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. FILTHY. And sadly they do not care because they have a captive audience.
We checked in this past Friday for a family reunion. Upon check in we get to our room to find the bathroom dirty and hair everywhere. Pubic hair, long hair… on the floor, on the toilet, on the towels, on the floor behind the toilet. We go back to the desk. Unfazed she assigns us a different room. While the hair was not immediately evident the bathroom was FILTHY. Housekeeping needs a swift kick in the ass and they need to get on their hands and knees and clean the filth out of the corners of the tiled bath. The whole bathroom from the bathtub to the sink, you guessed it, filthy. Towels, worn and paper thin. And shredded.
Pillows. REALLY? Why even offer pillows if they are 10 year old and worthless.
The Air conditioning you ask? Well it will keep you up ALL NIGHT with it’s constant on/off…terrible.
Worst 2 nights sleep I have EVER had IN MY LIFE.
Do yourself a favor and find another hotel as this property only wants your money and could care less about it’s guests.

Disgusting. No hot water for shower. Dirty bathroom floor with hair. Stained cushion on chair, filthy walls, carpet filthy, bed sheets dirty. Gross place. Not maintained well at all. Can’t even give this place a star at all but wouldn’t let me give this dump a review.

You get what you pay for with this two-​star experience. The walls and doors are paper thin (or so it seemed since every noise came into the room.) Room was clean and decently appointed; what was advertised was delivered except for the WiFi/​Internet promised. I tried everything to get access but the service was provided by an external ISP. Bottom line, would I return? Yes, is the answer if I needed a cheap place to sleep (forget about working.)

This hotel (more like motel, honestly) is on the less expensive side so I guess you are getting what you pay for. Rooms are outdated. They are outdoor corridor type rooms and I didn’t always feel so safe there. It seemed like an OK part of town but who really knows? The lobby is nice but it doesn’t reflect what the rest of the property looks like. The breakfast was not at all appetizing, you can see the staff pull the frozen eggs out of the freezer and defrost them right in front of your face. I felt like Danielle (front desk employee) always had an aloof attitude.

I would like to give this place a higher review, because they definitely are trying. They were repaving the parking lot while we stayed there as well as repainting the hotel. But, it definitely needs updates.
The outdoor keylock never worked as it never read my keycard to allow access. This, luckily, didn’t keep me locked out as one good tug enabled me to open the door. So hotel security definitely needed improvements! The hotel breakfast was in a converted room. It was below average in terms of quality and quantity. It was nice that it had a waffle maker but what wasn’t so nice was the mix was sour and had gone bad.
I would probably not come back unless a lot of improvements are done.

I stay here often for business and my most recent stay was less than desirable. I had to get a new key made everyday, my toilet broke, and a very disruptive resident (yes, over the course of months I’ve always seen this guy in the same room).
This is a lower class hotel with nothing special. The rooms are clean and staff is helpful. I think this place could use a facelift overall to make it more visually appealing.
