Sacred Addition

Thought I was going to mass ink. Got a text from the artist that he moved to sacred addition as I was driving to my appointment and not even a year later do I have to get this cover because of this mess. Jeff pretty sure was the one who did it, im sharing this now because I know what it’s like to get a bad tattoo. My new one is simply perfect and still has all its color where you can see in my picture of my first it faded after a few months. So thankful I found an amazing artist to fix my rose! I’m sure sacred addition has many talented artists but make sure you know what your getting. People are shocked at the work I had done here. I had to pay all over again so someone could do what they were supposed to.

Love love love sacred addition! I’ve had all of my tattoos done here and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Charlie, the owner, is awesome and did my first ever tattoo for me years ago and I still love it – I’m even going in next week for a new piece and I’m so excited. The shop is really bright and clean and everyone there is always so nice and easy to get along with. Definitely check these guys out!

These guys are great! Very, very clean shop and great atmosphere. between the several artists that work here you can get any style imaginable. Anthony has worked on friends and myself and we couldn’t be happier.

Just wanted to update so I can emphasize how great this place is… it’s been 8 months and I’ve been back 4 additional times already.

Anthony is wonderful.
I was in Boston from California for a week visiting my best friend. I had a tattoo in mind for the last year. I figured this was a good time to get it done. She told me that she heard good things about Sacred Addition. I gave them a call to see if they would even be able to do it this week. I spoke to Anthony and he asked me to email him a picture of what I wanted. We stopped by later that day to speak with him. He said he would come in Friday (his day off) to do it before I went back home.
I came in Friday for my appointment. We got started on the tattoo and it was immediately way too painful for me. 15 minutes in, I told him I probably would only be able to do the outline. He wasn’t pissed (like I would expect someone to be if they came in on their day off to do a tattoo) and told me he was almost done with the outline then we could take a break and then start the shading, which was much easier that the outline. I said okay. He was right. The shading was much easier than the outline. There were a few other points during the 2.5 hours that I was ready to give up. Anthony was like a motivational speaker. He encouraged me to finish it, but in a nice way. The owner (didnt catch his name) was drawing something near where I was getting tattooed and also encouraged me to finish it before I went back to California the next day. He said, «you don’t want to be walking down Venice Beach with an unfinished tattoo.» I told him I live in San Francisco and likely wouldn’t be at Venice Beach anytime soon. But his encouragement was still nice.
It’s been a week since Anthony did my tattoo, and it looks amazing. I’m so so happy with it. Thank you, Anthont!

love these guys! ive gotten tattooed by the owner Charlie, freddy and joe. most recently joe did my sleeve. i loved going in to get tattooed and chat with him about music and our daughters and just shoot the shit. hes such a good guy. they all are. i love my arm he did an amazing job. i also appreciate that if your tattoo idea isnt their style of tattooing theyll recommend someone who would do the best job on it. they dont just wanna take your money just to slap something on you. love the shop love the guys love my tattoos! thanks guys!

I love it here! I got my first tattoo done here about 8 years ago, and it is an inner lip tattoo and it’s still there and in excellent shape. No fading, nothing! The staff/​artists are awesome. They are very talented, and respectful. They run a professional environment and they do good work. Clean, and cozy shop too. Great place!

i went to Sacred Addition because my very talented and amiable pal Zane works there. initially, i was a little apprehensive as 100% of my tattoos were done at Redemption Tattoo or by Redemption artist who moved locations. they have kind of a cult following and i am admittedly part of that following. but i trust Zane and his ‘mad skills’ so i made an appointment and went in. the shop is small but the atmosphere is friendly and down to earth. once we got the music pumping (the pantera station on pandora!) and the other artists and their clients came in, i started to feel right at home. there was a lot of joking and fun, a nice distraction to the not so pleasant feeling of getting tatted. i’ve been back once since, i’ve found everyone to be very nice. both tattoos, i got were amazing and exceeded my expectations. it’s not all fancy or pretentious but it’s a good shop with solid artists. i’m biased but i heavily recommended Zane. he is kind, polite, funny, professional and very talented. i consider myself heavily tattooed but i definitely recommend this shop to first timers as well as seasoned veterans.

The parlor is a little small, but the artists are what makes the parlor. Great selection of artist books, magazines, and flash. Each artist has their own particular genre they work best in and their books reflect this well.

I’ve been to four different shops to get tattoos, and this is definitely the best place I’ve been to.
I went a couple of years ago to get a pinup girl done on my right calf. I talked to Charlie, who is the owner, and he drew it up based on a calendar I brought in. Although there was a bit of a delay due to him breaking his wrist, he powered through the 4 hours it took to get it done as soon as he could. I was very happy with the resulting tattoo, especially considering he freehand some stars and the pillow she’s kneeing on.
It was a great experience from start to finish, Charlie was friendly and was very professional, great artist all around.
I’ll probably be going back real soon, having just got some tax money back.
