History

Established in 1988.

Eric Danilchuk, president of Danilchuk Auto Body, Inc., started his business in 1988 with one employee in a 3 bay garage in East Boston. Over the course of 20 years, It has grown to one of the largest auto body shops in Boston and on the North Shore. This is attributed to a great working environment, top-​notch technichians, a fantastic finished product, and most importantly a very serious approach to customer service and satisfaction! In 2009 a Satellite office in Charlestown, MA was opened.

I do not write many Unilocal reviews but when you are blown away by consistent reliable work you feel obligated to share your experience. If you are extremely busy and want something done right the first time, then I would strongly suggest using Danilchuk Auto Body. It’s a family run shop and they truly care for and value their customers. Not being a car expert, its nice to know that the person working on your car is someone you can trust and is always going to do what is in the best interest of you, the client, and your car. When is comes to any auto work, its a no brainier.

We had been loyal clients of Danilchuk’s for over 30 years. Recently my truck was damaged due to a contractor, I brought my truck to Danilchuk to be repainted and have all the damage and scratches corrected as well as the windshield replaced. While replacing the windshield they scratched the paint on my hood which he never repaired they broke both of the window rain guard visors in order to get my truck out fast they missed or ignored more than half of the dents and scratches he was to have repaired. Shoddy substandard work and excuses, avoid like the plague as far as using Danilchuk again I’m done!

I used Danilchuk Auto Body two years ago when I lived in Boston and had a great experience. A buddy of mine smashed my car by backing it up into another car in my alleyway. I called Danilchuk Auto Body and Eric, the owner picked up my car from my house, fixed the right rear bumper panel and brought it back the next week. I highly recommend these guys to anyone who needs some car work done.

I went to this body shop based on a friend recommendation and because was listed on commerce web site. I had my car scratched on both sides and needed to be painted.
Rob Caldarelli is the manager or owner … I am not sure.
When I met him he was a nice guy, the best in the world… however he became a jerk when I needed to pick up my car and pay. He promised anything just to get me in and then he screw me, forgot about what he promised.
Be aware he has no customer skills and even threat me … I paid and left. Never go back. I have 3 cars and leave next door… too bad

Back again at Danilchuk’s after my parked Jeep got hit today by an 18 wheeler. Once again these guys are great, Rob got me processed quickly, arranged a rental and paid the tow driver directly. They will do a great job as always. Honest, friendly high quality shop. What else can you ask for?

Just got our car back from Danilchuk. It was a great experience all things considered. They met us in Charlestown — on time. Took the car then and there. He estimated a week to repair the damage and gave us an accurate estimate quickly.
They finished in 9 days, dropped the car off at our home, did a courtesy detailing of the car and took care of the insurance claims. Easy… and the car looks great.
My only issue is that they never answered my e-​mail asking for a status update. Considering they were exceedingly helpful by phone, I’m still giving them 5 stars.
I would use them again… (but hope I won’t ever need them…)
