I have seen Dr. Lau three times. I find him to be very professional, kind and gentle. I am starting IVF treatments for infertility and have read that acupuncture can increase our chances and Dr. Lau assured me it very well can help. He is very knowledgeable in the field as he explained what he would do and why. I find it affordable and am looking forward to seeing his work do wonders for us!

Would NOT recommend this place. They are a rip off! When I called to make an appointment I was told by the woman on the phone that she «specializes» in the type of acupuncture I was interested in. When I came in for my appointment I saw the male physician, not the so called «specialist.» When I was brought into his office he was reading out of a book to himself, trying to figure out what to do with me. I asked him if he’s treated this condition before and he said «no, not really». Needless to say, I lost all confidence in him then, two minutes into the appointment. I went ahead with the appointment, was told acupuncture doesn’t hurt. That was a lie. It was one of the most uncomfortable things I’ve put myself through. At the end of it all, they charged me $ 180! Half of that was for herbs I was supposed to take. When I got home and read the label it said do not take if you are allergic to nuts (which I am), he never bothered to ask if I have any allergies. Another $ 50 was charged to me for a «Traditional Chinese Medicine Assessment.» That basically entailed him taking my pulse, looking at my tongue and asking if I’m a coffee drinker and then asking if I tend to be hot or cold. Terrible experience. Never again!!!
