History

Established in 1984.

Solid Gold was established in 1984, by the Dalton family. We have always been located in Dalton Flats between Easley and Pickens, right off of Highway 8. In the beginning, Solid Gold was sharing an office with Dalton Lumber Company, which was also our business. Eventually we began to make jewelry, including actual melting of gold for casting on site. What we cannot make, we outsource, and set the stones here at the store.

Having been born and raised in Pickens County, I consider my customers my friends and family! We have customers from several surrounding counties, and even out of state, that make the drive to us, as well! It gives me great joy to help them pick out, or customize a piece of jewelry for them or their loved one. Because this gift always has value, and can be passed down from generation to generation if it has proper care, my job seems more like my life’s calling!
