History

Established in 2013.

For my daughter’s 16^th Birthday a few years ago, I decided to surprise her with something special. We had a limo and flowers waiting for her in the parking lot of her high school. And with five of her closest friends in on it, we had gourmet cupcakes I had ordered, in the limo, and headed off for a special night. Unfortunately, the cupcakes were very disappointing. When her friends asked why I didn’t make them myself because, «Mrs. A., yours are so much better!,» a light bulb went off.

I’d been making them for years and years, many of which were made from family recipes. I’d always loved baking them for my children’s classes, various teams, etc., and never thought about making them available to the public until that March night in 2012.

This venture has truly been a family affair, exactly what a small business was meant to be. My goal is to see that «wow!» smile on all of my customers’ faces, and to make sure their special event isn’t lessened because of disappointing cupcakes.

Business Owner

Dawn is a mom to three awesome kids, and married to her college love for over 25 years. With degrees in Business and Design, and after years in Advertising and Marketing Consulting, Dawn decided to share her decades of baking experience by opening her own cupcake shop. Coming from a long line of bakers, she uses family recipes and the best ingredients possible.

Dawn added, «Cupcakes are a staple in our family, as well as many other bakery items, and I’m thrilled to finally be able to offer some of those wonderful recipes with the public. It fills my heart to make people happy with a simple pleasure.»
