Rise Above Dyslexia, LLC has arrived in Eagle, Idaho! We are so excited to bring research-​based tutoring to our community.

We are dyslexia specialists, and we’ve developed a system that can change lives, forever. While we empower students in reading and spelling, we also restore hope and self-​confidence. Our specialized remediation goes above and beyond what a traditional school or homework tutor is equipped to offer.

Rise Above Dyslexia, LLC provides consulting, screening and tutoring services for children and adults that struggle with reading, spelling, and writing. We are delighted to provide services to families in the Idaho Treasure Valley.

Established in 2005.

Sherry Black is a Dyslexia Specialist and founder of Rise Above Dyslexia, LLC. She is passionate about helping teachers, parents and adults understand dyslexia so they can make informed choices. In addition to workshops, Rise Above Dyslexia, LLC also offers consultations, dyslexia screenings and research-​based tutoring.

We are so grateful for all the support and care Sherry has given my son Matthew who is 7 years old. He has struggled since kindergarten and we had hoped he would eventually catch up with after school support including Sylvan Learning Center, but nothing worked. I was told by my sons teachers that he might have Dyslexia. I began to search online for support and tutoring for kids with Dyslexia and that is when I found Sherry Black. After just a couple of sessions we all seen a major improvement in his reading and writing at school. She has such different teaching techniques that you will not find in a class room! Not to mention my son actually enjoys the tutoring and is focused throughout the whole session which is amazing to me. We are happy we found Sherry and you will be happy too.
