Service is great food used to be great but it’s been trash the last year and a half or so. I used to order the Mexican pizza, it was amazing all the ingredients were very fresh, the jalapeños were basically neon green the were so fresh. The crust was crispy like a cracker. The meat was cooked to order and the tomatoes were fresh as well. Then they hired a new head chef and everything went to hell. I ordered a Mexican pizza, the crust mushy, the meat had obviously been sitting out all day and put in a pan over a steamer. The jalapeños looking shriveled and old like they were pulled out of a jar. This is the second time I ordered the pizza and same result a year later.

I love the low key atmosphere of this place. The food is good, the service is spot on. Really took me back to my childhood, with the comfort of a local bar and bowling alley. Even the kids were happy !

Good bar food — breadsticks, meatball sandwich, and chicken wild rice soup are all excellent. Atmosphere is always nice — good servers. Drinks are averagely priced. Alley is nice but could be updated.

This place is gold. Most of the servers are friendly and racked out. Happy hour after midnight? Yes please. Free popcorn? Yes please. Bingo night? Yes please Accidentally dropping a nugget in the urinal? Sorry. Won’t happen again.

This is an old school bowling alley bar that has bingo and meat raffles and unfortunately a ton of families with kids! The noise level is high. Our server was a peach and very nice. I had a couple cocktails and some pot roast sliders that I would order again the mashed potatoes and gravy were salty but really good and I ordered a burger but after my taters I had no room. It looked good though. I would go again but not if I wanted a calm quiet environment.

If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I walked in no one acknowledge my presence for at least 15 minutes. We finally got seated, and took another 15 minutes to get service. They forgot to bring out the appetizer. They asked if I wanted a refill on my drink took glass didn’t see it for another 30 minutes, I had to find the waitress and ask where it was. The entrée came, and was not as described in the menu. It was served frozen! I have eaten at many settings like this, and have had good and bad service. I have never been so appalled in my whole life. Worse place to eat I have found in all of my travels.

Are your taste buds dead? Do you enjoy service so bad that it requires quotation marks around the word service? Then by God hit this joint up. Here’s is a list of things I’ve waited less time for when concerning their food and drinks. The end of «Cat On A Hot Tin Roof» Kanye West to become irrelevant World peace The second coming Saw 98 Omnipotence. If you have nowhere else to drink or eat, eating bark off trees and drinking gas has become your 2nd to last option and someone is holding a nuclear warhead to your head and the head of everyone you love… Then I would think about getting around to possibly letting the idea of eating in this hole in the wall cross my mind.

Fitz’s has become my default location for all sorts of cravings. Want to grab a drink? Let’s hit Fitz’s, want to get a tasty sandwich? Let’s hit Fitz’s, want to go bowling? You get the idea. Part of the reason this place has become such a default for me is because the food is tasty, the atmosphere is great, and the wait staff is always friendly and fun. I have yet to be disappointed in a sandwich or burger form them and haven’t really found anything on the menu that I don’t like. That being said for some reason I keep going back to their Reuben because mmmmmmm Reuben. If you’re worried that the restaurant is tied to a bowling alley, don’t be they’re linked in such a way that the noise of the lanes and the groups of people bowling really don’t interfere with the restaurant side of things at all.

I like Fitz’s. Its a no frills bowling alley that consistently puts out decent food. The drawback is that they upcharge for everything! The menu clearly states that their vast amount of sides will be an upcharge with a sandwich, but we asked for a few extra pickles and were charged 35 cents for a small cup with 3 – 4 pickle slices. I understand food costs. I understand that some people try to get all the free extras possible, however, when sandwiches cost upwards of 8 – 9 dollars, I was put off the«extra charge».

Probably the best mushroom burger I’ve ever had, not too much mushroom and the perfect amount of cheese. The spaghetti leaves a bit to be desired though

Delicious bar food, but also an extensive menu with plenty of variety! I bowl here on Wednesday nights(Go Lenny’s Ladies!!), so maybe once a month or so I’ll order dinner from Fitz’s either before, during, or after league. My favorite is the grilled cheese – um, hello! Fantastic grainy bread that is buttery and perfectly toasted, with ooey gooey cheeses oozing out the sides? YESPLEASE!!! It’s so simple yet done so right. I always get the waffle fries with seasoned sour cream – heaven. The sweet potato fries are also delish. Last time I was there, my cousin ordered the club sandwich, which I am going to get next time(branching out, trying something different!) because it looked fantastic! Even my mom, who is very particular and only ever orders salads, had nothing but good things to say about the taco salad(ordered without the shell). Portions are just overly big. The side of fruit is the size or a regular order, and the regular size fruit order is the size of a boat. Waitresses are all friendly and quick to respond. Bingo is on Wednesday nights – get there early if you want a table!!! I love Fitz’s!

The food was meh at best, maybe Unilocal has conformed me to a higher standard when I eat out because I cannot agree to the 4 and 5 star ratings by my fellow Unilocalers. Everything was below average if I compare it as a restaurant. It is adjacent to a bowling alley, so if I put it in that perspective I suppose it would be a 3 or 3 ½? Nothing stands out and I was very disappointed as the locale is near me and I need some more variety in my Unilocaly life. Oh, the seasoned sour cream was worthy with the fries as some have praised, but nothing to give it much more than a quarter of a point boost.

Love this place! We don’t bowl, but love their food. Their holiday brunch is great, their regular menu has good variety for a pub menu, and the food is great. We’ve had parties in their lower level, and the broasted chicken was amazing… we like the(free) popcorn(most nights), good appetizers, great drinks, good burgers and sandwiches. One tip… if you want a quieter night out, make sure you don’t pick Bingo night!

I love this place. It may be that the bartenders are awesome and remember my name and drink of choice. Or that the crowd is usually laid-back 40-year-olds. Or that the food is delicious. I also live less than a mile away, so that could have a hand in it. Disregard that last reason; this place is awesome! My hangout for apple pie shots, amaretto and coke’s, delicious seasoned fries and sour cream, and fried cheese curds. They also have free popcorn; win! This is just a great place to come and drink and eat good food late at night. Some other menu highlights include: the fitzwich, the rueben, the rachel, and the chicken and rice soup. Get you some!

An overall fun atmosphere and great service! The patio is very nice, and there is a lot to do! I can’t say much about the food, but ti seems like you typical bar fare. Will return if I am in the area.

My friend Matt and I decided to go out for Bingo one evening over the summer and he suggested Fitz’s. I had never been here before and I was in for quite a pleasant surprise! First off, you pull into the parkinglot and find yourself next to a really cool set up with a HUGE outdoor patio/deck, and four vollyball courts, plus a little hut bar out on the patio so you don’t have to wait for your drinks if you don’t have one in front of you. The bowling alley is a nice touch to the interior as far as having something to do, but my favorite really was the bar bingo. The cards were super cheap and the prizes were actually really good! The games were quicker than I expected but that might have something to do with the fact that there were only two tables left when we were there. The food is WAY better than I expected! I ordered a Hawaiin Chicken Sandwich and was SHOCKED when it got to me! I have never been to such a dive-y place before that has food this good! The fries were fantastic and the chicken was cooked to perfection! Next time I am in Eagan I will be sure to stop in again!!!

After searching high and low for a place to grab some late night grub on a Sunday night, we happened into Fitz’s. Boy am I glad we did! The bartender happily took our orders, poured us a few monster beers, and offered us a bowl or two of free, fresh popped popcorn. The menu had a nice variety of pub foods, and a huge appetizer section. The walls featured dozens of drink specials, and as another reviewer noted, they have what appears to be a cool outdoor patio area. The inside was fine by us; a large bar and plenty of booths and tables. Food arrived quickly: chicken burritos, which were great and really hit the spot. The chicken was grilled, all white meat breast, the cheese mild and non-greasy. Perfect after-concert bar food, and the grill is open until at least midnight. After several 30oz beers, food, and a huge tip, we dropped a total of $ 40. Quite a bargain by my book. Fitz’s = WIN Food = 3 stars(good bar food) Service = 5 stars(attentive, helpful, friendly) Value = 4.25 stars Misc = 5 stars(serves late, huge interior) Thank you, Fitz’s!!!

My husband and I stumbled upon this place by accident looking for a Korean restaurant that turned out to be closed for renos. Anyway, we decided to give it a try. It is connected to a bowling alley, but what is really fun and unique about this place is the patio. Not only do they have an outdoor patio, but a beach volleyball setup! There are about 4 courts cordoned off and connected to the patio. We enjoyed our beer, which is reasonably priced and the food is decent. Not great, but decent. The inside bar has alot of space as well. I probably wouldn’t go in the winter, but definitely for a sunday afternoon to people watch and see the volleyball games. I think they have some weekend leagues, but not entirely sure.
