Love this pizza! My family is originally from Minnesota but have been living in Texas for 20 yrs and had missed having this pizza. About 4 yrs ago I called and talked to the manager, Dave, and asked about shipping pizza to us in Texas. He didn’t hesitate at all and our enjoyment of Carbones began again. Twice a year we order 10 or more double sausage pizzas and they arrive in 2 days in absolutely perfect condition and ready to bake. I will always argue that this is the best pizza I will ever have, and Dave and William are two of the kindest, most wonderful people I have ever dealt with. I would highly recommend the double sausage pizza, it’s the best. :)

I have ordered pizza and buffalo wings from a here a few times when I have had a work function in Eagan. This is a fantastic place to do so. I rate Carbone’s somewhere in the top 10, regarding pizza places in the Twin Cities/suburbs. Anytime I have ordered pizza from here, the order has arrived to me at about the time they estimate on the phone. This aspect makes this place more reliable because I feel like I can plan everything else with schedule according to the estimated time that I am given. The individuals on the phone have been helpful with any suggestions they may have or any questions I may have. My phone orders have always gone smoothly. I have had a different pizza delivery person every time I have ordered. Every one of them has been friendly and pleasant to be around. I have been able to strike a good and short conversation with a couple of them. The pizza and buffalo wings have always been delivered to me fresh and hot, and they always taste delicious. I usually order the sausage and pepperoni pizza, and I order the buffalo wings with hot barbecue sauce. Their pizza is a refreshing alternative to the often-bland Domino’s. My one suggestion with their buffalo wings is to serve them by the number of wings instead of by the pound, as mentioned on the menu. This would relieve some confusion on the menu. When I am in Eagan for a work function and need some good quality pizza, I will continue ordering from them. I feel like I can count on them to deliver some of the best quality pizza in the Twin Cities.

If there were a way to give this place zero stars I would. Our order never even showed up. We were here dying a post-Christmas party and 2.5 hours later we called only for them to say our order was on its way. Another 2 hours passed, our guests left and he food never showed. Absolutely ridiculous.

I am very sad to be writing this review — for years we have ordered from this location in Eagan and so tonight we placed an order for two large pizzas and pizza fries — places order at 6:07pm(60 minute time told for delivery) and received it finally at 8:20 — after calling to the location — while family is in from out of town we thought this would be a great idea while visiting! With the first call we made the gal said we are going to be receiving 10.00 off when guy arrives — which was placed at 7:35 pm — and was told he was on his way(prepaid for with card on original call– when we ordered) which we won’t see I’m sure — second call was at 8:00 and she’s taking another 10 dollars off — but at the end of the day I will be sharing this response with my family and friends — big disappointment — unbelievable poor customer service and follow thru — the Carbones location is 8 minutes from their home! 10.00 dollars is a complete joke for your lack of being over an hour and fifty minutes — dealing with hungry out of town guests — very uncomfortable and is uncalled for by your company !

The people are great there. If you eat in there is a awesome aquarium to watch. The pizza is greasy but delicious.

While running an errand in Egan we decided that we would stop and grab a bite to eat. Pulling up Unilocal we noticed that Carbone’s was very close, so we decided that we should give it a try. SOGLADWEDID! Walking in you cannot help but notice many beautifully landscaped salt water mini-reef aquariums. Our server Brittany could not have been more informative and helpful. To start we chose the antipasto salad. Upon asking if the regular size would serve two, she informed us yes. Brittany even put it on two separate plates for us. It was fantastic. For our entrée we ordered the small Five Topping Special Supreme, deep dish style. Asking if we could switch the green peppers for olives was no problem whatsoever. While waiting I had a clear view of the open kitchen and noticed that all of the dough is formed/tossed to order.
Our pizza came out with six generous pie cut slices. It did not disappoint, the sauce was packed with pure tomato flavor, beautifully spiced and wonderful. The toppings were plentiful and covered with a nice thick layer of perfectly melted cheese. Our server was in charge of the entire dining room and handled it with great ease. My only hope is that other locations closer to our home have the same quality as the Eagan location does, they set the bar pretty high! It should also be noted that the other person dining is a native New Yorker. Thank you for making our errand that was out of the way for us in rush hour traffic very much worth it!

I am ranking this pizza high on the delivery side. None of the national chains can compete with this pizza. They have a good crispy crust, tangy sauce, and a ton of real cheese. For delivery this is for sure in the top 5 for this area.

when ever my travels takes me too Eagan Minnesota, I have to stop by Carbones. Great tasting food, the pies are really good to, friendly staff, clean and love their spicy sausage dish here. Thank you! Ron

I was in the mood for some non-chain pizza. That is more difficult than most would think, most local place’s idea of good pizza is a DiGiorno from the Piggly Wiggly. This place has genuine, honest to goodness, real Italian food and pizza. I had the deep dish pizza. The toppings were plentiful, the sauce tasty and hot, and the service was great. I come from NJ so I am somewhat spoiled. We have a million little mom and pop Italian restaurants to choose from. Here in the Midwest, they are more difficult to find. If you are looking for a clean, nice restaurant for something different than the chains… give Carbones a shot. You won’t regret it.

Just your normal pizza place serving Minnesota style pizza(thin crust cut in squares, who knew there was such a thing). We got the cheeseburger pizza which was actually pretty good. Extra cheese, onions, pickles, and hamburger meat. It did kind of taste like a cheeseburger.

I got the 5 top(sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and onions) special to go. Just wished they cut it in 6 slice wedges, instead of these little squares. Very tasty toppings, and crispy thin crust. I’ll definitely be back.

For me, Carbone’s is the epitome of self-loathing hangover pizza. For suburbanites, it’s apparently quality. It’s greasy. Really greasy, largely due to the fact that each pizza is loaded with massive amounts of cheese. Seriously, I have never seen so much cheese on one pizza. If you’re wondering where your toppings are, they are hidden in layers of cheese(that and Carbone’s isn’t very generous with their toppings). This wouldn’t necessarily be a bad thing, except that the cheese isn’t of great quality. Try re-heating the pizza the next day and you’ll see what I mean. If you microwave it you’ll find a puddle of grease pooled around it. Since there is so much cheese, it makes the thin crust soggy and greasy. Take-out is not ideal; when you finally get it home you’ll find it has started to congeal. You’re basically just eating a block of cheese, as the cheese overpowers everything else that’s on the pizza. The price is right if you’re looking for a greasy fix.

Love Carbones. Awesome cheese bread, pizza, and the best hoagies ever. These people don’t know what they are talking about. Also Eaganites really ought to frequent this place more because it’s always dead and my boyfriend and I are afraid it will go out of business. Would be a real shame. Seriously, try their hoagies…

The food isn’t bad but the employees that work there do not know how to use the credit card system they utilize. This is now the 3rd time, yes 3rd, where they were only supposed to charge me for a portion of the bill($ 10 to be exact) but charged me for my portion AND the full amount of the bill! Not everyone has an extra $ 50 to be throwing around. I am extremely disappointed and will no longer give them my business. This is horrible business practices and if their employees don’t know how to charge only a portion of the bill then they shouldn’t be allowed to take any payments at all. I’ve worked in the restaurant business for many years. Its not rocket science!

C’bones is an establishment in Eagan and undoubtedly, I will always order pepperoni and green olive and/or a toasted turkey hoagie — the number of times I’ve ordered this is triple digits. Last craving lasted a week and I phoned my order from the airport. I might try the deep dish since I never knew it existed here and sounds interesting, but I know what I like, and so I’m also easy to please. The original restaurant has been renovated, yet still has a very homey feeling, dig it; whereas the newer spot in Apple Valley is more live and tastes the same. C’bones is damn good.

This is by far the best place to get pizza in Eagan. I much prefer the deep pan pizza which is always loaded with cheese and lots of flavor. The toasted cheese garlic bread and pizza fries are great too. Great to eat at with kids too because they will love the saltwater fish tanks.

We ordered the Antipasto Salad with vinegar and oil dressing and some domestic beer to start. We were dissapointed but totally pumped about the pizza to come. The thin crust pizza was disgusting. No flavor, the cheese tasted off, the sauce was nonexistent and the toppings seemed sparse. The service was wonderful but the entire meal struck out. Except for the garlic bread that came with that salad. I could have eaten ten more pieces.
