Specialties
Our mission from the beginning was to create a menu that takes you back to a time when quality meant something. Fresh hand crafted burgers, French fries made from real potatoes, sodas with natural sugar and not high fructose corn syrup, and craft beers from family owned breweries right here in Minnesota.
History
Established in 2014.
My name is Tony Donatell, and together with my father-in-law Mike Bauer, my mom Janet Donatell, my brother Paul Donatell, and my uncle Matt Williams, we own this place. We actually built it too, we did our own demolition, built the bar, put the tables together, and put every piece of wood on the wall.
I don’t have a fancy culinary degree, or 40 years in the restaurant industry to tell you about, but I do know what good food is supposed to taste like. My work ethic and almost everything I know about food I learned from my family
I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin where there were no fast food restaurants, my mom taught me how to hand patty ground beef to make hamburgers. My Grandma Elfreda West owned a potato farm called West Lawn Farms where occasionally my brother and I would get to go out in the field on a tractor and watch the potatoes come out of the ground. My grandma would take the fresh potatoes, cut them right in front of us to make fries. Enjoy what we have created!
