Old Navy

I stopped in to find a gift for a teenage girl I adopted for Christmas. She’s a size xxlarge. I wear a medium so I never realized how difficult it was to find larger sizes, it’s really awful. Old navy typically carries xx large but this store was limited. Many sweaters were only in xlarge. I did find what I needed but it took awhile. I find that the Smithfield RI location and patriot place one had better selection of large sizes.

The Dedham location is definitely larger and somewhat nicer, yet this stores design is SO much different than that one that its SO difficult to compare.
This store is never as busy as that one, as well, and this one has never the wait at checkout they do, and has more checkout registers. Plus, They ALWAYS have TONS of flip-​flops, (since I always buy a ton before summer), which I greatly appreciate (!!!), and they always have great deals on shirts, jacket, pants, and other useful clothing for every season. The staff here, are pretty good… besides the managers (who I both know, sine they both used to work at Staples… one worked at the Norwood Staples and one at the Dedham Staples, who were both ok…), but the rest of the cashiers and fitting room workers are very friendly and helpful.
–1 star for issue with one of the store managers: I spoke with her in the store and on the phone recently, about the store address… on the storefront the sign reads «86 Providence Highway», which is the correct address for this store. On
, this store’s address is stated as «90 Providence Highway Route 1», which is incorrect. This needs to be fixed ASAP, and the manager hopefully will fix it!

I’m partial to this Old Navy, as I used to work there back when I was in my early 20’s. The store is always clean… the same cannot be said for many others I’ve been to over the years. The employees are nice and basically leave you be unless you come directly into a section their primping or look like you need a mesh bag to carry your items as you shop. The layout changes depending on what they have but the prices are always great & that’s why I like Old Navy.

This store is okay, but I’ve noticed that they don’t have the selection that the Dedham store does, and they usually take longer to put out new apparel.

its a chain so obviously nothing sticks out about this place. the store was dead when i went in and i was looking for something particular, no one would take the time to stop switching the displays long enough to help me.
maybe my customer service expectations are too high? but not even a greeting when you walk in?
oh well i didn’t find what i wanted and a big waste of time but other then that nothing to write home about!

Old Navy is like any other chain store. They all look the same and feel the same. This Old Navy was different than the others I have visited. The clothes were neatly organized on the racks. The selection also seemed slightly better. Customers did not leave a mess. The employees at this one were great just as they have been at other locations I have been to.
