My fiancé and I eat here often. We made friends with a couple of the wait staff because we go pretty regularly for about two years now. We love Kim! She has great energy! And the food is good!

Went in to eat lunch today with the family. Our waiter was great, he didn’t mess up any of the orders(we had some gluten free members with us, it was nice to see that they didn’t forget not to put tortilla strips on their salads), he also was on top of refilling our drinks. Everyone enjoyed their food, there was 8 of us and not one complaint. We always love coming to chilli’s great food great prices !!!

Don’t believe ANYTHINGYOU’RETOLD here. Called to inquire about Happy Hour here and was told that it was from 3 – 6. Upon arrival, the waitress informed us that didn’t apply today. She seemed very disinterested and spoke to her manager who didn’t even come to speak with us. She returned and said«he said no.» Won’t be rushing back here any time soon.

Yuck! The waitress messed up our order. The person that gave us our food had no idea what he was doing. Our soup came out cold and when we had them reheat them, the soups didn’t come out until our entrees were here. All of us hated our food, it was greasy and disgusting. And the waitress was nowhere to be seen. Horrible

We are frequent customers of this Chili’s and always find the food and service to be top-notch. Recently we decided to place a take-out order for the first time. When we got home, we realized there had been a mistake in our order, and we hadn’t gotten the correct fajitas. We called the restaurant, and the manager, Donni, was extremely apologetic, wrote us a really nice letter to follow up, and included some coupons for us to use upon our return to the restaurant. This was courtesy and customer service of the highest caliber! We have been back, enjoying the excellent fajitas and other menu items. Thank you for your excellent food and customer service!

I came here for the first time on New Year’s Day with a friend. I decided to get tacos and liked the option of choosing three different ones. I went with one ranchero chicken, one grilled fish and one spicy shrimp. There was a mistake somewhere and three of the ranchero chicken taco’s were brought out, however, the waitress was great and fixed the issue. All three were good, but the spicy shrimp was my favorite. My friend enjoyed her chicken quesadilla. We paid with the Zoosk at our table, which was easy and convenient. Good food and service-I will definitely be back and next time I’ll try their appetizers and drinks too.

Average at best for its location, food, and staff. Occasionally you may run into a disinterested server. Standard Chili’s menu, no surprises. I particularly enjoy their Chipotle fresh mex bowl, Mango Chile Tilapia, and Fajitas. Sometimes, depending on the server, they may do the fresh mex bowl with or without the chicken /meat or with additional veggies and spice in case you prefer it that way. I have never used the promo offers /chili’s cash but hear they are good if you dine-in. There is ample parking space, though at peak hours you may sometimes find it difficult to get back on Rt 18 S as the exit is close to a busy traffic light.

The chili is excellent, but their crackers are still consistently stale. I mentioned that to a manager over two years ago. Nothing changed, so I’m wondering if the crackers I was given the other day were from two years ago?

Chili’s used to have a Baja salad that I would go out of my way for, but alas that is no more. The atmoshphere has always been noisy but football season makes it almost intolerable because the bar is the center of the restaurant. Although none of the food was particularly bad, neither was it particularly noteworthy. I feel lost at Chili’s nowadays because I don’t really know what the theme is anymore, but I guess the bar patrons are happy. They also recently started using the Ziosk system. Oh and $ 7 for a dessert! Really?

Worst trip ever. Server suggested we get up and move to the bar when asked for drink specials. We got fajitas which were not. we had to ask multiple times for the rice and beans that we ordered a hour ago. Love chilis very disappointed. Hopefully there’s another one close to me. :-(

I go here A LOT, I’m sure the waiters know me by now. I think it’s one of the few good restaurants to eat at in East Brunswick(at a cheap price that is). Service is great. Never an issue. Pretty attentive. Great prices, good food. Food has never been an issue or changed quality. Big menu, lot’s to pick from(burgers, wings, tacos, pasta, quesadilla’s, etc). One thing, beer on tap didn’t taste right. I think they don’t clean the pipes from where the beer comes out of that well. I’m sure I tasted a bit of soap. Overall, thumbs up for this spot.

I have been coming to this Chili’s for years only because my daughter as she grew from an infant to a teen liked coming here. Now that she’s developed a more discerning palate, and since I’ve been fortunate to avoid those times when it was the restaurant of choice for the day, it’s been several years since I sat down for a meal at this location. They have made significant upgrades to the décor and entertainment, adding a game and payment system to the table that allows you to compete against others in the restaurant and around the country in a variety of games or challenges. I’m hyper-competitive, so it became a real distraction and I really wanted to be present for my table-mates, but that’s a good option if you’re seated alone. With all the upgrades, it’s unfortunate that they didn’t do as much with their food. While their presentation skills have improved – yes, the hamburger bun glistens as promised – it’s still the same old chain food I’ve come to loathe. So, if you have kids and they like to be noisy, or you like your drinks served in large goblets(though the former might necessitate the latter), or want to catch the game on one of their TVs over the bar, then head over to Chili’s.

From 4 to 1 in one sitting, I’ve come here so many times and I’ve never experienced it like this last night. My waitress must have been over worked and the manager has no clue what quality food looks like. First, The waitress was the hostess. After directing us to the table she made a sharp turn into the kitchen and never made it to the table. We sat ourselves at this point. As I began to order my drinks the waitress began to bad mouth the manager because she was taking orders and sitting people. The drinks came out and then shortly the food followed. I took one look at the«smoked wings» and I was immediately turned off by the color of the chicken. I’ve never seen the skin of chicken look so disgusting. I wasn’t going to be rude about the whole thing and I knew things could happen but after the manager came out inquiring about the chicken wings, instead of apologizing and offering a replacement, thats when I knew he had no clue or probably didn’t even look at the dish. His reply«They’re smoked» What exactly does that mean? That chicken can look pale and disgusting. Then he wanted to throw them in the deep fryer? I was trying to figure out if that was an insult or was he trying to keep the dish from going in the garbage? If the product is smoked, Why would you ruin that by throwing them in the fryer? I was so beyond myself I fired an email off to Chili’s while I sat at my table. It takes a lot of energy to drive a person to that point. After the end of the night, I will no longer go back to this location.

I am extremely impressed with the taste of my food. My coworkers and I decided to have lunch at this location on our way back to Long Island. I haven’t had Chili’s like in two years and I wasn’t really impressed from my last experience. I was expecting food that is really generic and tasteless. What I experienced was the total opposite. My potato soup was really tasty and cheesy given it was topped with shredded cheese get it lol!!! My half chicken sandwich with avocado from the lunch menu taste fantastic. I will definitely be back with my friends to the Chili’s franchise in the near future. I personally think Chili’s is going in right direction with their make over and technology upgrades.

Expecting the worst, I finally relented and accompanied my wife and two kids to Chili’s. And to my surprise, we ended up having a pretty decent experience. I read a lot of business news and was aware that Chili’s had been for some time in a massive top-down overhaul thanks to pressure from their biggest investors. Such a geek I am that I even read through a 200-page PowerPoint that talked specifically about what Chili’s was doing to turn itself around. And I must say, it’s working. Chili’s will always be Chili’s in that it is still a mediocre chain restaurant, even when it is firing on all cylinders. But the kids love it, the booze is cheap, and there’s plenty on the menu that everyone can find something that should appeal to them. Some of the highlights for this location: First, the store was clean and up to date in terms of modern décor. That’s a biggie. You fail on that and you may as well just close up shop. Second, they have a tablet-driven system for managing the check, which also serves up iPad-like games for the kids.(For $ 0.99 per visit.) It doesn’t replace your server, but it does allow you to call for them, pay the bill, split the check, and obtain a receipt. When you pay, you are offered to take an electronic survey about your experience. As a person who lives and dies on customer insights, I cannot begin to tell you how smart this is. Third, the manager walks the floor and stops by each table to see how their meal is going. That’s a nice touch. He’s a really nice guy. And lastly, the food isn’t half bad. Everything is crazy salty, as my wife pointed out. So if that’s a problem for you, I might suggest you steer clear, or at least wear comfy shoes that stretch, because your ankles are bound to swell up. Guacamole made tableside, though gimmicky, produced a more than edible version of the classic. And my wife’s black bean burger smothered in sautéed mushrooms and melted swiss looked like it was pulled right out of the photo on the menu. Me? I keep it super-simple at a place like this and just had some boneless buffalo bites. I’m sure they are frozen nuggets of mystery meat, but their sauce is good, and when washed down with a few beers, I’d go so far to say they’re even better than Hooters, Applebees, or Buffalo Wild Wings. I don’t plan on running back here any time soon, unless it happens to be for a few apps and Jamesons at the bar. But for the occasional trip with the kids to maintain my sanity, Chili’s turns out to be a decent option to kill an hour or two.

Some coworkers and I went for dinner before heading back to work for Back-to-School Night. There were 7 of us and six of us paired up and split a sandwich and salad. We got the quesadilla explosion salad and the bacon avocado chicken sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious!!! They even split the plates for us so we didn’t have to do it ourselves. So we each got a plate of salad and a plate with chicken sandwich and fries. The salad was really good! It had two small cheese quesadillas and the dressing was really good with some nacho strips in the salad as well. The bacon avocado chicken sandwich had a pesto mayo and it was on a pretzel roll. Chicken was so juicy and delish and the pretzel roll was soft! Would definitely get these two items again(but I don’t think at the same time again… I was stuffed after that!!)
